((Im really lonely, but i just wanted to rp that so ya..))
Ethelind looked up at the big, tall shelves. It was a huge library, with rows upon rows of books, as she noticed. Her fingers scanned the spines of some; usually hardbacks. Oh, how she had missed the library back home where her parents lived.
She explored the Austen's section, before picking out one of the spindly-blinded covers and examining it closely, sitting over in one of the red cushioned armchairs. Sense and Sensibility the cover read as she flipped it open and begun to read quietly.

Trey looked up and smiled back at Ethelind
he chose a book at random from a shelf and sat down in a corner to read

Ethelind got up and sat next to Trey. She smiled, pointing to the book he was holding. "What is it?" she asked. "That you're reading."

Trey looked up and saw a girl next to him. "oh this? just a random one I picked up from the shelves. Sorry, I am being so rude, my name is Trey, you are?" he leaves a respectful silence for Ethelind to answer he may have been Candor, but he liked to be respectful

Trey blushes, and sees someone over from them. he looks at her and sees she is reading Moby Dick, a favourite of his
"Ethelind." She holds out her hand to the boy, and smiles warmly; her eyes were glittering, the lights in the library had turned them an obscure fixture of greens and blues though it wasn't really sure what colour they were. They seemed to change with the weather or her mood, or maybe it was just the brightness of the room. "You like Herman Melville?" She watched as he diverted his gaze to the other end of the room, towards the girl with the Moby Dick book, which she was now holding in her hands. "And... whales?" She coughed, embarrassed, as she began to blush a hot, red vermillion shade.

Trey blushes again "umm yeah, what um books do you like?" he tries weakly, he had never had to do this before, in Candor you always told the truth, it was really hard for him to not say he liked her. "would you like to go to the um Cafeteria?"
Ethelind looked at him, curiously. She had never had much experience with telling what people thought of her; she never really thought much of herself, to be honest. She sighed. "I... I don't know," she said, at last. "I like... classics, I guess. The types of books that have you on the edge of your seat either with passion or romance or just a good thrill of the chase type of thing." She looked over at the girl with the Moby Dick book again, unsure of why she was still over there, in the corner of the room. "I... maybe we should go," Ethelind suggested. "To the Cafeteria, I mean."

"umm yeah" Trey also glances over at the girl and he then stands up and pulls Ethelind up after he has gotten up. He looks into her eyes and then quickly looks back away and blushes a shade of crimson

Luka suddenly rushed in, blushing.
"Am I late again? I couldn't find the library." he said.
"Am I late again? I couldn't find the library." he said.
No-one gave him a reply, so he went to a computer and started to type. He knew he could make up for lost time, as one of the skills they taught back in Candor was touch typing.

Leaf strolled in looking over all the initiates work.
Luka sat back and sighed. He was finally finished the draft. He began to edit.

Leaf wandered over to one of the initiates. He was pretty sure, this one's name was Catron. Leaf's eyes skimmed over Catron's essay.

Mae entered the library a little later than the others, and sat down in front of a computer. Her fingers danced lightly across the keys as she pulled up ten different articles about the natural and chemical components of the serums. She scanned each article carefully, cross-checking the lists and charts as best she could, then checked each source site for reliability. She then opened a blank document, and began to type quickly.

...Nah.

Leaf smirked at the back od Catron's head when he saw him tense. "You're doing fine"

((River is such a troll. :D))
Mae took a break from typing for a brief moment, and began to proofread. She scanned her work carefully, taking care to switch off the automatic correction program in the computer, knowing that it could make mistakes. She finished reading her page of work after about thirty-nine seconds, and read it over once more, this time cross-checking her paragraphs against each article, one at a time, taking into account the differences between each article. Once she was satisfied, she created a bibliography page, listing the links and sources to each article. She then searched and pulled up ten more articles, each regarding the history and development of the serum. She began the same process as she had previously gone through.

Trey walked in and sat at a computer, he started to write, just writing, his fingers flying over the keyboard, once he was finished he saved it and started working on a story
Luka looked over and saw that one of the guys (River?) hadn't done any work at all.
At least mine isn't the worst.
He finished proofreading for the second time.

Mae glanced up from her work, and noticed another girl who was looking around. "Hey," she called out softly. "Do you want to proofread mine? I'll proofread yours. It always helps to have another pair of eyes."
Mae smiled, and got up from her chair. She made her way over to Bekah's seat. "I'm Mae, by the way. What's your name?"
Mae smiled. "Yeah. Very much," she replied. "It's wonderful. There are so many books. Some of the people could stand to grow some modesty, though." She made a face.
Mae glanced over at the pair, then turned back to Bekah. She shrugged. "No idea," she admitted. "I'm not really that up to date on social stuff," she added with a chuckle.
((Sorry, but I should probably go. :/))
