Mystery solved! I'm so silly, the book was from a giveaway I signed up for on a different website! :)

Anyone watching the Super Bowl? I play fantasy football every year, but this is the first game I've watched all year, haha.
first game i have put on all season gives me time to figure out my book for tonight. Don't know what I want to open up
Definitely watching the game. Huge football fan and it's the last game of the season. I already got my readon this morning and will more than likely read some more after the game.
Kara wrote: "Anyone watching the Super Bowl? I play fantasy football every year, but this is the first game I've watched all year, haha."Wow, didn't realize it was Super Bowl Sunday. And I should, considering what a money maker it is for my city. (And state, too, I guess.)
Kara wrote: "Maria, who are you rooting for?"I just want to see a good game. My team was horrible this year but part of me want Payton Manning to win since it might be his last year! You?
Maria, it's really all the same to me, but I guess I want Carolina to win since I heard that the GM bought tickets and chartered a plane for every single employee (630 of them!) of the franchise to attend. I think that's pretty cool.
I don't use the Overdrive app, but based on the way book borrowing licenses work, any workaround that would allow you to do that would most likely be illegal.
I fell asleep at the beginning of the second half. It wasn't the most gripping game of the season. I wasn't too fussed about the outcome as my team didn't make it. I'm in Scotland so it isn't that big over here but I got into NFL a couple years ago because my sleep pattern is crazy and it meant I could watch a sport while awake.
Kara - you were? What did you think of it? I'm in Glasgow but my little brother lives in Edinburgh so I'm there quite a lot.
My mom and I cooked an awesome fancy dinner and stayed in for the evening. :)What did you think of Deadpool, Catherine? Did it live up to the hype?
I liked it a lot, it was very funny. I've been looking forward to seeing it and I would say it met my expectations. One thing I wasn't aware of was that it is R-rated. Lots of "f-bombs" and some "adult situations", shall we say. It didn't offend me, just surprised me. I'm more used to the PG-13 Marvel movies. Luckily no one brought their kids!
Yeah, I've seen several warnings floating around the Internet trying to remind parents that the movie is definitely R-rated. I haven't read any of the Deadpool comics, but I'll probably see the movie at some point.
I don't read any comics, but I enjoy most of the Marvel movies and TV shows. I haven't kept up with the X-Men movies, but I think I've seen all the others. I watch the DC comic shows: Arrow, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, but not really excited about the Batman Vs. Superman movie that's coming out.
Good evening all, I haven't posted here before x I was wondering, do people log smaller books as books, I.e I am working through 1001 books to read before you die, but some are less than 100 pages (some even much less than that) I wanted to read 200 books this year, would you log them as read or pool them together and say every 3/4 is a books worth , It sort of feels cheating saying I have read a book that's only 30 pages ! Thanks x
Laura wrote: "Good evening all, I haven't posted here before x I was wondering, do people log smaller books as books, I.e I am working through 1001 books to read before you die, but some are less than 100 pages ..."I personally do log each as one book. It works out if you also read larger books that are over 500 pages, like I do. I think it's up to you.
Thank you lovely! Yes , that's very true! I hadn't thought of that. I shall be gratefull of that reminder when I get around to reading les mis and war and peace lol x

has anyone took the test on https://www.pottermore.com/ to see what Hogwarts house your in? I took it and I'm in Ravenclaw
I'm a Ravenclaw too, Elizabeth! It's also the house I pretended to be in when I was roleplaying with my friends in elementary school. :)
Anyone on the West Coast planning to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter when it opens in April? We're going in the summer, I think.http://www.universalstudioshollywood....
Click on the Pottermore link Elizabeth posted above. Then you might have to click the right arrow a few times to get to the "sorting ceremony" page.
I didn't realize that it was opening so soon! I don't have plans to go to it specifically, but if I was in California for something else I would probably visit it.
I definitely won't be visiting California anytime soon. I haven't been on a real vacation in a while, so I'm making up for that this year. I'm going to Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in Chicago next month, the Roger Ebert Film Festival in April, visiting my sister in Ireland in May (also making a brief stop in Wales while I'm there) and then possibly another family trip in June to Virginia.

However, for some reading challenges and games that I have participated in when I was active on Shelfari (I'm a Shelfarian "refugee"), there are minimum page numbers in order for a book to count.

Ravenclaws for life.

We're planning a trip the week before Thanksgiving to Disneyland but Universal is definitely on our plan as well - hopefully two days to take in all that Harry Potter magic!

If you go mostly on weekdays, they have a pass for $109, which makes it much cheaper if you're going for more than one day. I don't know what the exact terms are, though, but I do know that it's only good for the balance of 2016. So it's not really a yearly pass, it's a pass for 2016.
Cassandra wrote: "I didn't realize that it was opening so soon! My husband is from there and we lived there when we were newlyweds. We stay with friends for a week, in San Diego, and go for a week or so somewhere else.
So sad to hear Harper lee died today. I think i'm going to re-read To kill a mockingbird. It was the black and white film that pulled me into reading her book and from there a thirst for reading in general.
