Mae piped up from her desk. "I used to steal sometimes, too," she told them, her face burning. "I'm not proud of the fact that I got pretty darn good at it..."

Mae nodded, her face red. "Yeah. My family wasn't very wealthy. I had to steal money, and sometimes I had to steal jewelry, as well."

Mae gulped. "A lot," she whispered. "I'm not proud of it. But it could come in handy, I guess." She paused, thinking. "Every week, I stole about twenty-five dollars worth of jewelry and money," she said, staring at the ground.

Mae glanced back down at the floor, examining a happy ant.

((I was part of that huge group, "Camp Half-Blood" for a while. It was definitely a very good first group to be in on GR. Everybody was very accepting and helpful. :) ))

River wasn't even eavesdropping. He was so simply not listening to their conversation.

Mae glanced at Catron. "Not narcolepsy, right? Usually narcolepsy strikes without warning, or during strong periods of emotion."

Mae joined Bekah. "We can help you, if you like," she called softly after him. "Wake you up if anything happens."

"Everybody, and anybody who finished their essays please come up and hand it in." Leaf announced.

Cleo jumped when she heard Leaf's voice, she was practically asleep.

River jolted awake. He hadn't realized that he'd been sleeping...

Mae noticed Bekah notice that River had woken up. She hadn't realized that Bekah hadn't realized that he was asleep.

((You guys can ignore this. xD. I just saw a chance for an inception reference. :) ))

River yawned loudly.

[CJ]

"So, what'd I miss?" River asked, stretching his arm out.

Mae looked around, making sure that no one else saw that Catron was sleeping. She knew Catron would probably not want many people to know about his narcolepsy.

Seth sneaks in with Piper knowing they were extra late to initiation

River finally caught up with the situation. "Whoa!" he shouted at Catron, "What the heck was the that?!"
He bent over and picked Bekah easily up off the floor and over to a nearby desk.

Piper looked around and chewed on her lip, she let go of Seth's hand as she pressed herself against a wall.

"Are you okay?" River asked Bekah, really concerned.

He looked at her and moved closer to her seeing how nervous she was and hoped his presence close to her might help her calm down a bit

Piper scooted herself into a corner, her blue eyes dancing around the room.

"How the heck was that not his fault?!" River exclaimed incredulously, then turned to Catron. "You hurt her!"

"Pipes it's okay I'm here" Seth told her

"Are you okay?" River asked again, realizing that she hadn't answered the first time.

"Are you okay?!" River asked, voice louder.

[CJ]

"Well, um..." River muttered, taken aback. Usually people just said stuff like "Yes! I'm fine, River! Leave me alone!"
"Do you need me to carry you to a hospital, or something?" he asked. "Did he really punch you that hard?" he added, glaring at Catron.

[CJ]

"Couldn't help it? Did the book just jump out of his hands or something?" he exclaimed angrily.

Piper shook her head, "nobody's here, it's just me, something bad is gonna happen.." She slid down the wall and wrapped her arms around her knees. Piper rocked back and forth in the midst of a panic attack.

He could tell there was nothing he could do so he simply sat beside her.

All of a sudden Piper stormed out of the room and screamed, she paced while thinking about what if this, and what if that. Her eyes darted up every time she heard a noise then looked right back down.

Seth got up and followed Piper afraid she might hurt herself

Piper ignored him as she over thought everything, she dug her fingernails into her wrist almost to the point of breaking skin.

He grabbed her arms to keep her from actually breaking skin "Pipes calm it's alright there's no one else here but us" he said softly

River sort of hung back. Bekah's face didn't look too bad, and Catron seemed to be helping...

Piper tried to get to get out of his grip but failed, "no! We're not! They're watching!" Tears fell down her face as she struggled.

River decided to voice his feelings, knowing only a portion of what they were referring to. "Okay. Something is wrong, here."

River rolled his eyes. "No, there's nothing wrong Catron, you know, except for you trying to murder one of our friends and then trying to tell me that nothing's wrong!" he said sarcastically.

River was getting really annoyed with all this. "Can you just tell me what the heck possessed you to make you want to hurt Bekah???"
