Mae kept watching River, taking care not to move until he stopped having a seizure. It just wouldn't be polite to take advantage.
Mae laughed as she held up her hands. "Aaaah, no more. I forfeit." She offered a handshake to River. "You win. I'd like to take lessons from you, if ya don't mind."

"What?!" he exclaimed, ecstatic. "I won!" He had left out the parts in which he'd lost all of those epic r-p-s battles when he'd been talking about them earlier.



River immediately curled protectively around his jacket.
