The End
question
What do you think of the ending?

I thought the ending closes the book pretty well and you forget about all the orphans problems, worries. I f you are like me you still wonder about the secret organization of V.F.D and about their parents.
I thought all that throughout the last book... but the end just seems to close it, patch all that suspicion and all the thinking. For some reason I no longer care about all that stuff. should I?
I still want to know but it doesn't seem to matter as much as it did from before reading the last book.

I entirely agree with you. The whole V.F.D. thing just kind of melted away into the background by the time I was finished with the series, though I still wanted to know more. However, if you're interested in what happened to the Baudelaires after that, The Beatrice Letters mentions seeing Sunny on a cooking show; but that's basically all Lemony Snicket ever adds on that topic.
I loved the series but it did leave me with questions at the end. I guess it was meant for everyone to have their own interpretations of the future after the last book ends. It was still satisfying though.
