I really LOVE him as Finnick! He is a great actor and is very HOT! He does the character justice!

I was disappointed when first introduced to Sam Clafin as Finnick. He is not the gorgeous hunk I had imagined the capital paid a fortune for. He wasn't very seductive, nor charming, in the sugar cube offer scene either. However his character did develop into an admirable Finnick in the games. He will be a good fit in Mockingjay.

I think its kinda cute to see girls who are probably average-to-slightly cute dish on a guy who's married to a beautiful woman, has countless fans and was hired to take part in a highly successful movie/triology. You chicks should hire the one direction kids. I heard they are the new hawt.

Personally at first I didn't really like him as Finnick, but as the movie progressed he seemed to fit perfectly. He has the best smile for the character (really cheeky) and looks like a real flirt. So in the end I thought he fit really well.

I don't really love Sam Clafin as Finnick, he was okay. First of all he wasn't hot enough to be Finnick in my mind.. but other than looks.. he didn't really play Finnick that well in the beginning. During the "sugar cube scene" he sounded hot and sexy in the book. But in the movie when he was asking Katiness if she wanted a sugar cube he just sounded creepy as hell. Other than that first scene I think he did well.

Sam Clafin did an okay job at portraying Finnick, but he could've done better.

Personally, I pictured Finnick to be more s*xy and hot XD

For me- Sam Clafin was as perfect role for Finnick as Jena Malone for Jahanna or Josh Hutcherson for Peeta or Liam for Gale or Jennifer for Katniss!!! ITS LIKE THEY'VE ALL COME STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOOKS!!!!!!

I thought he was a good fit for Finnick. Although he wasn't the PERFECT fit, he did do a good job. I think he pulled him off, and he is cute, but Finnick was described has a Celebrity Capitol Star that every girl wanted, and I think that they could have worked on that. But he did do a good job with his acting.

Well the movie was great and he fits the description of Finnick very well. He did great in the movie. I love that they gave him some more lines.

Ok. How can you not like him? He fit the role perfectly. Finnik is handsome and strong but also has a soft side. It would be impossible to find a person better to play Finnik. I nearly melted in my chair the first time I saw the movie.

Hell to the no. I hated him as Finnick. The movie was good, very entertaining and true to the book but Finnick was terrible. In what way does Sam Clafin ooze sex? He was supposed to be this very charming, devilishly handsome, TAN(!) playboy of the Capital and what do they give me? A sleazy, oddly featured, PALE loser who thinks he's hot sh*t and talks down to everyone. Poor casting choice.

I LOVE Sam Clafin. I think he's adorable, funny, and fits Finnick's image very well. The Catching Fire movie was fantastic, and I don't think it would have been nearly as good if anyone else were in his place.
