I'm not doing well so far, don't know if I've been in a funny mood but that's 3 so far out of 4 that I've given up on at various stages. Once my list has gone down, I might have to revisit these ones to see if any catch my attention a second time. On to

Three more read, taking me to 12/50 read or ditched. Think I'll be reading the next one alongside the few that follow as it's 600+ pages long!
Reading a bit out of order now as I'm trying to fit them in for a challenge. Started

Definitely by the end of the year, hopefully by maybe the end of October but I've got a few other books to read and a course at work coming up which will slow me down.
I've read a few more, got 14 left and I'm halfway through the next one :)

I'm going to start with Rotten Apple: Seven Sins, One Deadly City and leave Alaskan Fire, 1632 and The Riddler's Gift for towards the end.
Well that was quick.... Rotten Apple: Seven Sins, One Deadly City is badly written, so on to the next one!

And that book was as terrible as I expected, think I got 13% in before giving up in favour of Phoenix Rising which is mildly more enjoyable. Think I've left the bad books for last again!

I don't know what drew me to it in the first place but I wasn't expecting it to be any good!

Jimmy Threepwood wasn't enjoyable and it turned out I'd already started and given up on Now Departing Planet Earth.Alaskan Fire is good so far though!
I've set up the thread for round 3 already, there are some good books on there but I think I'll read some of my non free books for a week or so before I start the next round, they're piling up a bit!
Alaskan Fire was brilliant, I've got the next in the series on my kindle somewhere, I'll definitely be reading.Unfortunately, The Riddler's Gift and 1632 weren't and were both DNFs.
However, that means that list 2 is Finished!!

3 stars - 20
2 stars - 4
1 star - 0
Fantastic, good on you Claire. I think 70 of 100 is good to say they were all free, shows that there are quite a few gems out there.
Thanks Desley, there definitely are a few gems. And 4 stars for me means a really good book, I don't give many 5 stars.
