My name is Jeri and I live in North Carolina. Although, I do have summer homes in Solace, Braavos, the Black Forest and Oxford, among others. :) I like to read and dive into different worlds and stories. A good yarn, is a good yarn. That being said, I read a variety of genres. Such as the classics, fantasy, historical, horror, mystery/suspense, and a little sci-fi. I am not a fan of romance by itself. If it is historical romance, I may give it a try. I also enjoy some young adult novels as well.
My favorite book is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Other favorites are the Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin, Dragonlance by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, Deerskin by Robin McKinley, Cabal by Clive Barker, and Watchers by Dean Koontz. Besides these authors, other authors I really enjoy are Juliet Marillier, Rick Riordan, Phillipa Gregory, Laurell K Hamilton {Merry Gentry series}, Alice Borchardt, Charlaine Harris, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Morgan Llywelyn, and Carrie Ryan. My favorite poet is Percy Shelley-he has my heart.

I am fairly new to the workings of goodreads. So, please add me as a friend, if you would like. And recommend me a good book! :)

I'm totally new here, I've just joined this group so I thought it would be nice to say some words about myself before I post in every thread. :)

About me:
My name ist Martina, short Tina and I'm 26 from Vienna (Austria - no, that's not where the kangaroos are) and I'm not native, but nonetheless I'm also reading books in english or write here - so please, just ignore my many mistakes.
Beside working in an office I like to read (suprise, suprise) and write my own reviews and talk about the books I've read. And I love music, dogs and sport.
The books I like the most are:
Twiligt series, Mortal Instruments, Darkest Power Trilogy, Fever Series, The Host, and so on...

So I guess I'm a fantasie fan and like to read about love and romance - and yes - I'm totally a happy-ending addict... :)

I'm Natasha and I'm an eighteen year old reader, writer, gamer and blogger. I love reading most things Fantasy, as well as some Horror and Crime/Mystery.
I've been blogging since March, and have been reading for as long as I can remember. As for writing; I started working on improving my writing about six years ago and have been published in an anthology once since, at the start of this year.

I love Egyptian Mythology and it's one of the things I research in my free time. Of course, between college, a part-time job and writing, finding time to read and play video games is difficult, but I still manage. =)

Hello everyone, my name is Jasja, 39 years young (and even younger at heart) and born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Needless to say I love reading, but I also love love love being around animals, especially cats, dogs and horses (in alphabetical order as I don't favor one over the other). Other things I love are travelling, spending time with my loves ones, a good cheesefondue and cycling, provided the weather is good.
