I could see where the author was going with this book, but it just wasn't for me.

Lol. I so agree with your review.
On my phone so can't hyperlink it but I'm reading The Crush by Crystal Hubbard. Well told so far and has some genuine LOL moments . The heroine is biracial (black/Brazillian). My only complaint is that Hubbard seems determined to play up the heroines latino heritage and all but dismiss the African American side. And its not backstory/upbringing. Not really feelin that. Still, nice read so far.
~Charmer~the 1click addict wrote: "Am I the only person that didn't like Naked?"Um no, the only reason I haven't written a review detailing my immense dislike, is my inability to lay out all the issues without becoming as offensive as i found that book.

There was A LOT of FAIL in that book. Can't wait to read another review that shares the same WTF.

I hate to say it, but I think this may be a DNF for me. I'm having some trouble getting into the story, and the writing style.

I just couldn't get in to the story, or the writing style. I may revisit it again later, but I just want to read something that doesn't take so much effort right now. You know what I mean?

I'm reading Tethered by L.D Davis. Awesome read. It has more than 50 pages and is not just about sex ;)

Was reading
and it has earned the unique distinction of "fastest book I've ever put down"!! Could not get with the writing style.
Tamekia wrote: "Just finished In Jack's Arms by Roxie Rivera- loved it!"I loved that one too.
I just finished two each of which i would probably give 2.5 - 3 stars
- Good ideas, choppy scenes, insta-sex. Writing wasn't bad but I kept being yanked out of the story by how disconnected the scenes are.
- heroine was a race car drive, Yes! Again, very Good ideas and the chemistry b/t H/h was good. But the writing needed work. Dialog didn't sound natural, characters were too surface and I was squicked by the non-safe sex (especially since it was established the hero was a bit of a player).Currently reading
I am only at 6% but I am feeling optimistic about this one.
Some authors that I'm learning to really like and I thought they were worth mentioning. Kiru Taye, Obi Orjiekwe, Nana Prah. I get a bit of a global perspective on romance. Some of these books are interracial and some aren't.
Finished
and love it! Now I want to read the other two in the series. Also finished
. It was nice, thought the romance move a little fast for my taste.Currently reading
and I am loving it!
Tina, I agree about A Suble Tenderness. I usually like a tiny bit of insta-love but maaaaan, they took it to a whole new level! lol
Anino wrote: "Currently reading

I like it, but it is definitely a slow burn. I'm not sure if I really like Elliot though, he's a bit on the a-holey side! I hope there's some revelation later on that allows me to forgive his jerkiness, but he's running out of time! This is definitely different from Love Script!

Just finished
and I really liked it. Which is saying something because approx. 75% of the book takes place when the h/H are in their teens. I don't read YA/NA romance as s rule and this book really encapsulated why (steamy sex scenes with 16, 17 y.o -- no). But that said, the writing and story telling here were great.

I bought that one about 2 weeks ago, but I've had so much to read since the semester ended.. Looking forward to reading it..
Been on a good roll lately with IRFinished
. it was very sweet. Some of the issues I had with the first book were missing (Bianca seemed a lot more comfortable in her skin). I really enjoyed following up with Bianca and Sergei.Finished
. I didn't love it as much as a lot of reviewers. Good story, but had some issues with execution.Currently reading
and I am really digging the vibe.
I just started reading
but it hasn't really hooked me yet. Also reading
, which I really like so far.
I just finished reading Sergi Her Russian Protector book 1 and 2 by Roxie Rivera. I am about to start Birds of Prey box st by Tressie Lockwood,Dahlia Rose and Kassanna.

As far as "Naked", I did have a few issues with it when I first read it. However, I want to do a re-reading of it honestly.
