I myself have thought about starting a blog, but not sure when I would find the time.I as well tried the whole no buying books until I get my TBR down. I made it 5 months.
Good luck with the blog and your challange.
I like your blog. Hope to travel to England one of these days. Seems I never get pass Ireland--too many friends, too many pubs.
I like your blog. Hope to travel to England one of these days. Seems I never get pass Ireland--too many friends, too many pubs.I don't know if I am lucky or just cheap, but I have not purchased a book in over two years. Have a good library here, and exchange books with friends. My sister-in-law reads about three books a week, and sends me a care package every month or so. Then I pass them on to people at work, or give them to the library.

I began my blog in October 2013 and am having great fun with it. I began a one year challenge of reading free books. Like many readers I have accumulated quite a collection of books that sit on my shelves which I haven't got around to reading yet. I also, love to use my library and I often get given books for birthdays etc. So, I decided to have a book buying freeze for one year and to calculate how much money I have saved by 'not' buying another book and I have been amazed at how quickly the figure is rising.
