Brandon was surprised when she didn't take his hand, but he didn't push it. He cleared his throat. "uh, I'll go for enchiladas, today." he replied to her and gave her his best smile.

Marie smiled back at him weakly and ordered for him, then stood back to wait for their order. She bit her lip and looked around at the other girls there, the ones who gave her dirty looks when they thought she was just his friend. What would they do when they knew she was dating him?
Brandon's eyes followed to wear Marie was looking. He noticed the group of girls and sighed. "Hey." he whispered to Marie. He pulled her into his arms. "Don't worry about what they think." he said to her. "I've never met a woman more beautiful than you. they're ordinary people in front of a goddess like you." he pulled her face close to his as he talked to her.
Marie smiled slightly and hugged him tightly. She grinned at his words and smiled up at him. "Thank you, Brandon." She leaned up and kissed him gently, then hugged him tightly again.
Brandon let her go when the food arrived but didn't let go of her hand. As they made their way towards an empty table at the back with their food, they passed by the girls. "Hi Brandon." one of the girls said." Brandon stopped near them and stopped Marie next to him. "Hello ladies. meet my girlfriend, Marie." he put an arm around Marie to prove his point.
Marie smiled nervously as they glared at him. She moved closer to Brandon before she noticed one girl smiling at her. "That's good to hear, Maire. I'm glad you finally pinned him down." Marie smiled at the girl and looked over at Brandon. "We only have a few minutes left."
Brandon was glad that Elizabeth was being nice to Marie. she understood, of course. she was saying her one of her own friends. Brandon looked down at Marie and nodded. "we'll have to eat on our way back then." he said to her.
"Okay." Marie smiled again at the girl who had been nice to her and waved. "See you around." She turned and went back towards her car, looking over her shoulder to see if Brandon was following.
Brandon and Marie got into her car. he chucked. "see, not all of them are evil creatures of the night." he teased her. "Elizabeth is really nice, no?"
Marie rolled her eyes at him, but smiled nonetheless. "Yeah, she's pretty cool. How do you know her?" She started the car and put it in reverse, heading back to school.
Brandon took a big bite out of his enchilada, trying to stall from answering the question. "she was the last person I went out with." he said quietly and quickly.
Marie's eyes widened as she slammed on the brakes. Fortunately she had been parking at the time. She swallowed hard, then blinked and shook her head. "Sorry. I, uh... Well, that's one way to meet your ex..."
Brandon waved it off like it was no big deal. "You know, it never really worked out between her and me." he looked down at his food. "i was dating her to make you jealous. I don't think she ever really liked me much, and she always somehow knew that."
Marie blinked and looked over at him. "You... Did it to make me jealous?" She blushed lightly and smiled at him. "And I didn't even know her? That's... Kinda cute in a sad way." She laughed softly and kissed his cheek gently.
He smiled boyishly. "Half of the time, I dated to make you jealous. but noooo! nothing cracked through you!" he laughed lightly. "Until now."
"And the other half of the time, I was right." Marie pointed at him, then laughed and started to eat. She smiled and looked out the wind shield, suddenly looking lightly worried. What if he's only dating me to make someone else jealous?
"I guess yeah." he smiled. But then when he looked at her again, he noticed the slight change on her face and her eyes. "hey, what's wrong?" he asked slightly touching her arm.
Marie jumped slightly as the small shock from his fingers made her snap back into reality. "Huh? Oh, it's nothing." She smiled at him again, but the worry stayed buried deep in her eyes.
Brandon smiled as he tugged a lock of her hair behind her ear and gave her quick kiss. "come on, your highness. You're going to be late for your next class." he said as he opened his door to get out.
Marie got out as well, taking her trash with her. She smiled at him and suddenly pulled him close, kissing him hard. She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close for a moment, then let him go and smiled slightly. "There. Better?"
He was surprised by the kiss but he held her close and kissed back. Brandon made a puppy face and shook his head. "no." he was still holding her. "I wasn't done."
Marie laughed softly. "Are you this smooth with all the girls you date?" She detangled from him, then started to walk back towards the school. "Come on, class is about to start."
"You're more than the other girls I've dated." he caught her hand as they headed towards the school building. "So, no. I've never been like this before."
Marie blushed lightly and smiled over at him. "Thank you..." She kissed his cheek, then rested her head on his shoulder, not caring if the girls glared at her any more. They could be as jealous as they liked, she was happy.

Brandon dropped Marie at her next class. "Pick you up later?" he asked as he planted a soft kiss on her lips.

(Half of a day took a month. XD Sure. :) )Marie smiled up at him and walked into her class. "I look forward to it." She waved to him, then sat down in the back.

After the class was over, Marie quickly rushed out, the bell ringing in her ears. She looked around for Brandon, hoping he would be there, but she knew what class he had and what route he'd take, so she'd be able to find him easily.
Brandon walked out of class with his guy friends. "Hey Brandon, you coming over to watch the game tonight?" one of them asked.
"Uh, no can't." he immediately thought of Marie. "I wanna be with my girlfriend."
"Kay, cool. later, dude."
"bye." he headed towards Marie's class.

Marie found him and smiled, hearing the question and his response. She walked over to him and smiled, slipping her hand into his. "You can go, if you'd like. I wouldn't mind." She smiled at him, then looked after his friends.
Brandon shook his head. "I'd rather spend my time with a beautiful goddess." he smiled.
Marie laughed softly. "You're such a flatterer." She smiled at him and squeezed his hand. "Come on, then. My house or yours?"
"I would've loved to take you to my house if my brother wasn't there right now. He'll ruin everything. So its your house." he told her.
Marie smiled. "Alright. You brought you car, right?" She smiled as she saw her car, going towards it.
"Yeah, I'll just drive it to your place." He said as he moved towards his car parked next to Marie's. He took out his keys form his pockets.
Marie kissed him quickly before she walked over to her car. "I'll see you soon." She smiled and waved, then got in and started the car, driving it towards her house.
Brandon got into his Mustang and drove it behind Marie, to her house.
Marie parked and got out, then stood next to her car to wait for Brandon. She smiled when he pulled up, then went to the door to unlock it.
Brandon got out of his car and joined Marie at the door. he placed a small kiss on her cheek as he met up to her.
Marie smiled at him and opened the door, leading him inside. "Do you want to watch a movie?"
Brandon moved closer to her. "With you, I'm ready to do anything."
Marie laughed softly. "Go pick a movie, Romeo."
Brandon stepped back. "Actually, you pick out the movie, I'll go make us some popcorn!" he started walking to the kitchen.
Marie smiled and looked over her movies, finally picking out Star Wars. "How about Star Wars Episode One?"
"huh." Brandon paused. "A little nerdy, but sure, if you want." he put the popcorn bag into the microwave.
Marie put the DVD in, then went to the sofa and sat down. "Ready when you are!"
A few minutes later, Brandon came out with a giant bowl of popcorn. He set it down on the table and sat down beside Marie. He put an arm around her.
Marie grinned and curled up with her head on his shoulder.
Brandon pulled her closer to him as the episode started. he held the bowl of popcorn to her.
Marie smiled and took a few, sticking them to her tongue and giggling, then looked up at him.
Brandon kissed her nose at the cuteness of the act. "You're amazingly beautiful." he said to her.
