a woman is on the run from a druid man who wants her for her powers and because she is an experiment that he created. she is picked by a pack of shape shifters and falls in love with the leader I believe. he lives in a skyscraper hotel with a bar, casino and restaurant attached I think she was briefly a waitress In the restaurant. the druid eventually finds and kidnapped her using one of the shape shifters because he held the mans wife as hostage. the druid changes her into a hybrid using magic and chemistry. the girl calls In her gmother for help because she is a druid. the girl has druid powers and now can shift into a type of cat. they can shift in three forms full human, full animal, and a mix of both this is a series hat I read about two years ago and I believe it was published about two years before that.

i read this at about 2012 i think. i cant remember exactly what her powers are for the druid side but when she shifts shes more cat like then anything else. the druid who was after her gave her a cocktail of animals when he made it so she would shift. and yes most of the shifters are wolves the pack that helps her are wolf and so is the others

also, the restaurant has a very distinctive name to it. but for some reason i can't remember what it is. it has some significance to the werewolf clan that owns it
