Amy | 181 comments I hope it's not considered cheating that I'm going to be posting both here and in the 100 books challenge! :(

I'm increasing my personal goal to 100 books for 2014, but I'm so comfy and cozy in this group that I don't want to leave! So, hopefully, no one will snitch on me for joining both groups!

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2014! (As I happily boot 2013's miserable butt right out the door!)

I won't snitch, if you don't. ;-)

I was thinking about joining the 100 books group, too, but I don't want to leave this group either, for the exact same reasons.

Linda (lndoyle) | 313 comments Is there a rule against belonging to more than one challenge group? If so, I'm in violation too. Uh-oh...

Amy | 181 comments Nah...just my natural sense of guilt rearing its ugly head. I can find a way to feel guilty about pretty much anything! Lol!

Good luck on reaching your 50 or 100 this year, Amy. And no, it's not against any rules to belong to both groups... But those of us over in this group will feel like you don't love us, or like we're not enough for the three of you... That's fine, don't worry about us. We'll be okay. *sniff*

;)

Amy | 181 comments A few hits, a few misses so far for me this month!

#1. The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe by Mary Simses The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe I can't really judge this one fairly, since I'm not a romance reader (and this definitely fell into that category). It just wasn't what I was expecting, I guess.

#2. Concierge Confidential The Gloves Come Off---and the Secrets Come Out! Tales from the Man Who Serves Millionaires, Moguls, and Madmen by Michael Fazio Concierge Confidential: The Gloves Come Off---and the Secrets Come Out! Tales from the Man Who Serves Millionaires, Moguls, and Madmen I really liked this one! (And, the gossip hound in me loved all the name-dropping!)

#3. Malled My Unintentional Career in Retail by Caitlin Kelly Malled: My Unintentional Career in Retail Thank goodness this one was short. It just grated on the nerves after a bit. If she mentioned - one more time - how low-paid retail employees are, I was going to throw the book against the wall. Yes, retail employees are *definitely* underpaid for all the crap they have to put up with. But, after awhile, Ms. Kelly's tone became downright insulting.

4. The Never List by Koethi Zan The Never List Interesting, but not worthy of any 'must-read' list!

5. What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty What Alice Forgot I really enjoyed this one, although there were some aspects that I could've done without (don't want to include here due to spoilers). Overall, though, a great read!
