Mary I also read both and loved the Lavender Garden. TOH was just OK.
I liked that the story wrapped around the actual history in the Garden....good read!

Jeanyne I read them both...I think I liked TOH best, but I loved the Lavender Garden too. Both caught me up in the story right from the beginning.
