I just read the first 5 chapters (quite long chapters) and I'm a little perplexed. I don't understand why Celia is accepting her daughter's death so easily.
Also, Kitty was so naive in this book. I don't know if I'll like her as a character. She always chooses to take the easiest path. I don't understand her inability to read either. If you are good at math and logical thinking you should be able to read and write since words have a logical pattern to then as well.

Also, the reason why they choose her to be the double was kinda weak. Don't tell me in a world so advance in plastic surgery they still don't have the reasources to make contact lenses to match any color they want...

So far I'm not that impressed with this story, but it's not as bad as I was expecting it to be.

I feel like they dont even have a "family" anymore. No I never expected her to be alive with the way they treat their family

I read this and just had trouble with accepting the characters fully. Not sure why but just couldn't get too into them.

Ok, I'm done with this. It got 3 stars from me because it's wasn't particularly bad or boring, but not the other way around either. I don't think I'm going to read the next books in this series because the outcoming is painfully obvious.
The characters: I didn't like them, nor did I hate them. They were real people with real problems, sort of developed, but not that good.
This book falls in the category: sort of like. I'm not particularly sad I read it, but I don't think I would have lost a great piece of literature if I had.

Kathryn, it's not exactly bad, but it's nothing to write home about. I'd have liked for the author to have explored her world building a bit more... As it is a short book, it's no big chore to read it. I'd give a go if I were looking for a quick read.

Finished chapter 7 (view spoiler)[Kitty seems to be a bit naive. I thought she trusted Daxton too quickly by agreeing to his proposal without asking enough questions, but after seeing how he handled Tabs seeing them together maybe had she delayed any longer she would of been killed as well.

It must of been so strange for to wake up in a body that looked nothing like her. That even her height was changed was so weird!

When Kitty is told she'll be joining Daxton on his hunt I had a feeling something bad was going to happen, but I never thought she'd be watching the only mother she's known being hunted. I couldn't believe how absolutely evil Daxton was when he shot the people either, the joy he took in it was so sick.

I'm not sure if I trust Knox and Celia, but they seem to be somewhat good people so they might be okay.

Hoping to read more of this today.
