really liked it
bookshelves: review-books, netgalley-read

I didn't really have any expectations going into this book, so I was happy when I started enjoying it right away! It starts off good, but it's really the second half that grabbed my attention and I couldn't wait to read more.

I liked the dystopian setting and the characters were good. There wasn't all that much backstory, but I didn't think it was needed so that didn't bother me.

There were a couple surprises and the ending was sort of a cliffhanger and leaves me eager to read the next book.

*I received a complimentary eBook copy of this for my honest review. As always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.*
