Matching ISBN to Author

Hi

I am not a librarian.

When I attempted to become an author as well as a reader I entered the ISBN of my title (13 digit version) and it came up as having been written by someone else entirely.

I published under my own name (Roderick Hart) but my title was attributed to one Roderick P Hart, who is an academic given to writing about US politics.

Advice on how to rectify this would be welcome.
