Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments Woohoo! :D

Megan Brooker | 473 comments So do you guys have any idea how many pages you want to read? Or we could just check back at our own rate if that works better for you guys.

message 6: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments Hello!

well, it looks like we have REALLY small chapters. There are just about 475 pages in my copy
but there are 84 chapters! LOL!

How about we come back every 10 unless something big happens before then??

How fast you read those 10 chapters is totally up to you. I am currently buried under books so I may not get more than 10 chapters done on day 1

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments Oh my! LOL!

10 chapters sounds good.

And yeah, I am totally buried under books too. I will shoot for 10 chapters today but I am not sure if I will even be able to do that. I will try!

message 8: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments Okay, I actually went thru 20 chapters

because this book is HIGHLY addictive. It's all I can do to put it down...I just have too many others to read but I would love to read it all in one sitting

amazing so far!

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments wow! so happy you are liking it! (:

I will start this tonight or maybe tomorrow. not sure yet!

Megan Brooker | 473 comments Patrick Ness is great at writing suspense, I'm definately on the edge of my seat which I find odd considering the style of writing. One of my questions is what happened with Seth's brother that so important, I really don't have an idea.

Trisha | 30284 comments RIGHT!? UGH! he is so good!

So, I have some idea what happened to Seth but I'm not sure how far you are...so I won't reveal anything....

but man, this is just full of suspense but even moments were a I laugh! it's so good!

I will be starting right when I get back from school and finish my homework!

message 13: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments yay!!!

Megan Brooker | 473 comments So I'm about on page 150 and some interesting things have developed in Seth's character and I'm excited to see what new light is shed on him, and he's starting to grow on me, which definately is not what I expected to happen. While Ness has built a great world and there's so many places he can take it, I feel like something needs to happen soon for the flow to continue. Also, Gudmunds relationship with Seth's is important , I feel, to the events of the story.

Trisha | 30284 comments okay, I just finished

Part I

and OMG!

Seth (view spoiler)

BUT holy moly! There's (view spoiler)

part I stopped at a HUGE cliffhanger! I can't wait to read more tomorrow

this book is so good. I totally agree with you. It doesn't need a change in pace to draw me in more at all. I'm absolutely hanging on every word and love it so far! I hope to get through Part II tomorrow!

Megan Brooker | 473 comments I agree very suspenseful, I also think the introduction of Regine and Thomasz adds something to the story. Her theory that the whole world was on the Internet is very interesting and I'll eagerly await to see what becomes of it, I still am having a hard time wrapping my head around it though.

Trisha | 30284 comments okay, I just finished Part II and hope to finish this one tomorrow!

yes, I really like Tommy and Regine.
and holy moly, the reality of what is going on is crazy

but, lol, every section ends on a HUGE CLIFFHANGER! If I didn't have so many books piling up right now, I'd just finish this one! I can't wait to read the next section!

Megan Brooker | 473 comments I'm finished! I gave it five stars just because I loved the character, the suspense, and even though I wasn't sure how I would like the plot twist half way through I now think it was something that needed to be included (even if I didn't entirely understand it until the book was almost over). I would strongly recommend this.

message 19: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments I totally agree. I loved this one Megan

so glad you did too!!!

the huge plot twist (view spoiler) I agree. I wasn't so sure at first but then a little farther in I was good with it!
