Please tell me if you know the period of the 4 books

I know this is not for the 4th book but i'm very nervous because i don't know how much time has passed. If you know something please tell me. Thank you:)

In the books...It's...about a year? Year and a half?

The span of the entire series is about 5 years (not definite), from the time Eragon is 15 until he's around 20-21, from what I can tell.

The book goes through a total of 3 winters through out the books. 1 winter in the first book, 1 (I am guessing on this because even though it never says that winter passed while he was in Elismiera, he was there for quite a while)winter in the second book, and 1 winter in the 3rd book.
