Same here. I've been trying to think of ideas for a new series… I mean, I already have 2 pending Disney fan fictions that I need to write, but… I want a new idea for an original. I have my Atlantis series (1: Surge, 2: Glaze, 3: Scald), but I've gotten sort of tired of that… I was thinking something in the past would be cool, but there are already so many history themed popular serieses. Like, ancient history is just totally taken by RR. Then for medieval there's Game of Thrones, and then there are all of these books and movies about world war 2 and the civil war and stuff. Fairy tale rewrites have been done. I was thinking maybe something Shakespeare, but I'm sure that's been done too. And then I don't want to write something dystopian because Divergent and Hunger Games are already so popular...
