4/41 Mel Massey's Earth's Magick was a really interesting read full of secret ceremonies, old gods, and interesting characters.
5/41 J. Woods' Gilded Feathers
I met J. Woods over on Facebook and she's funny and nice so I thought I check out her series and so far it's really well written and pulls you deep into the stor
I just got fished with Nicolas Sparks, The Longest Ride all I can say is, it so worth reading and it totally ends happy. :)
Just finished Bring Up the Dead (the 2nd book in the Wolf Hall trilogy). My only regret is that I didn't wait to read these books until all three had been published. I hate having to wait until next year to read the last book. Beautifully written and wonderful characterization. This is historical fiction at its best. This is book 8 of my 50. Do I get extra credit for the fact that the first two books were close to 1000 pages together? :)
I just finished "Hip Check" by Diedre Martin. The book is part of the New York Blades series. I have to say it wasn't my favorite by far. The story went on and on....and also had too much swearing.
5/41 - Just finished Glided Feathers by J. Woods an extremely well written book that's one part romance, one part fantasy, and a little part nightmare, which I greatly enjoyed
6/41- Just started Virginia is for Mysteries which is a compilation of multiple authors and short stories, one of whom is Fiona Quinn, a wonderfully nice author I met on Twitter and I look forward to reading.
7/41 - Next up will by Eden Fell by Lily a Canadian Author who is continually making me laugh here at Goodreads and this book looks really wild and little insane and I can't wait to dig into it
Just finished Can't go home by Angelisa Stone
Brutally Beautiful by Christine Zolendz
Both 5 stars both amazing
I haven't really talked about what I've read for a while, mostly because the last few book I've read haven't really inspired it. They weren't terrible, just not anything that rocked my socks off. I hate that, it's more disappointing than a book I hate, just a book I feel very little about one way or another. *pouts*

The end."Been reading non-fiction and historical fiction, some good, some meh, but nothing that knocked my socks off. Couple reads I am looking forward to, but must finish my "homework" first.
Yeah, I feel the same way Beverly. I'm reading some things right now that are have tos and they are okay, but I'm really looking forward to my want tos!!
I just finished Cousin Bette by Balzac. Don't know when I have disliked characters or plot line more. My single foray into French literature was disappointing to say the least.
Fabiola has been reading a lot of French stuff (being all awesomely French herself). Maybe she could recommend something better. Fabiola?
I will think about it but just now I would recommend Parce que c'est toi.Balzac is not a romance author, that's sure and to say that we MUST study his works during our school years...
I'm currently into Cassandra Clares work. She's amazing. Her words pull you in and her charachters are soo doublelayered and I just admire her knack for telling stories. She's a superb writer. She can create the most wonderful worlds. You just wanna jump in and bade in her pool of words and wisdom.
I've heard a lot about Cassandra Clare, Stickylittleleaves. I know I need to add her to my TBR. But it's soooo lonnnnngggggg. LOLOLOL
I've had the WORST time reading in February. I'm still 6 books ahead of pace for hitting my 50 goal, but I've been so overwhelmed by travel and visitors that I've been 35% into Hunger Games for WEEKS! So I'm hoping March goes better. :/
I have 3 different books going right now, NJ Walters, Wolf at the Door, Jess Michaels, Beauty and the Earl plus the Spider Prince by Rebecca Goings.
I really loved the entire Colette Gale The Erotic Adventures of Jane of the Jungle series. They're short and super sexy and entirely glom-able. LOL So if you're looking for that kind of thing, GET THEM. Now I'm reading a non-romance for my book club (between writing).
Just gave up on my bookclub book, which I've been struggling with for like a week. I just couldn't do anymore. Now on to something else, hopefully something awesome.

Next to work stuff - which means in my case Schiller "Maria Stuart", "Nibelungenlied", "Iwein", Daniel Glattauer "Gut gegen Nordwind" and Mitterer "Kein Platz für Idioten" - I went through a lot of Regency romance so far and found my favorite writers of this genre this year. But I still have to read the latest Pepper Winters and I am afraid that she'll suck me into the book again *le sigh*. So maybe I will start with something else tonight.
