I am about to start Snow Angel by Melanie Shawn - I loved her previous books, sweet and sexy romace...so I´m guessing this one will be the same
I just finished reading The Age of Innocence. I don't know how I missed Edith Wharton's books in the past, but I'm hooked. It won't count toward my 2014 goal but I think I'm going to end the year with Ethan Frome.
I'm reading Willing by Lucy Monroe, second volume in her Mercenary series. I absolutely loved the first one and I'm going to take a break with my computer soon to continue the book. :)
I'm currently reading Elizabeth George's new Lynley book, and it still hasn't really grabbed me. Hope it kicks in soon or I may put it aside.

I am about to begin the latest by Laura Lippman, After I'm Gone. I have two romances I'm reading now: Badlands by Jill Sorenson and Still So Hot by Serena Bell.
I'm reading a SS paranormal that's just ok. I'm going to recommend a few books that I recommend to all my friends and not one of them has not LOVED these books
Judith McNaught :
Paradise, Perfect, Every Breath You Take, someone to Watch Over Me and Until You
Julie Garwood:
The Secret, Ransom, The Bride, the Wedding and her FBI series starting with Heartbreaker and then read in order.
Linda Howard: Mr. Perfect
May Banks: her highlander series are fabulous
Oh I could go on but if you've not read these books start now they are great books. Please let me know what you thought of them.
I just finished The Missionary (Navy SEAL+kidnapped girlfriend sold into sex trade=high action, tons of drama, loads of murder, and a highly accelerated heart rate that Im hoping resulted in slight weight loss *a girl can dream*) by Jack Wilder last night, and started on The Ever After of Ella and Micha. I am a huge fan of Jessica Sorensen and love this series.
I'm currently reading Light Of Requiem (Song of Dragons #3) by Daniel Arenson. The first book in the trilogy was awesome, the second a little disappointing, and this third one is pretty good so far. If you like dragons you should check it out.
I am currently reading Skater Boy By Kay Manis and Exquisite Betrayal by A.M Hargrove. Enjoying both of them at the moment.......
right now i'm reading nothing. but i mostly read short erotica books. the author sarah blitz is who i've mostly read towards the end of this year. i will let you know the next book i'm reading or read.
Jennifer - Martini Times Romance wrote: "I just finished The Missionary (Navy SEAL+kidnapped girlfriend sold into sex trade=high action, tons of drama, loads of murder, and a highly accelerated heart rate that Im hoping resulted in slight..."I've put this (The Missionary) on my tbr list but the sample just didn't grab me, maybe I should just go for it....
I started reading Return to Pougkeepsie last night by Debra Anastasia I absolutely love her as an author.
Michelle wrote: "Jennifer - Martini Times Romance wrote: "I just finished The Missionary (Navy SEAL+kidnapped girlfriend sold into sex trade=high action, tons of drama, loads of murder, and a highly accelerated he..."Michelle-The Missionary is really good, but its written by a man and I could tell. Its rougher and the male dialect is more authentic. The book is fast paced, it is non stop action for about 80% of the book. It has to do with human trafficking so if you get offended or dont like reading about things like that, rape, violence, murder, then you wont like it. There is romance in it as well but it is a secondary element in the story. Very well written and really no complaints other then the fact that it was just missing that elusive x factor for me.
I'm currently reading "When Everything Changed" by Gail Collins, about the radical changes for women that occurred in this country between 1960 and 2008. Not far into it yet, but very interesting.
I'm currently reading Kahlen Aymes Don't Forget To Remember me, book two out of THE REMEMBRANCE TRILOGY. It's very good. I can strongly recommend them.
I am reading book 7 of the Clarion of Destiny series by Franz McLaren. The first book was one of those free books that someone somewhere led me to and I'm hooked!!
Curse Corrupted (Gallows, #4)I just finished Sharon Stevenson's Curse Corrupted the 4th novel in Gallows Twins series of Supernatural Thrillers, which I found greatly entertaining, just like all of Sharon Stevenson's other books.
Blood Brothers A Short Story Exclusive
Then I ran through the novella from James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell that was the lead in to Innocent Blood
Now I'm rushing in to James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell's Innocent Blood the follow up to the Blood Gospel, which i greatly enjoyed
Working my way through some of the authors in the Entangled Brazen line-up. Started with Tessa Bailey's A Line of Duty novels, and continued with Rebecca Zanetti's Against the Wall books, and just finished titles by Gina Maxwell and Samanthe Beck. Enjoying the contemporary line thoroughly.
I started reading Lilly Feisty-Dare to Surrender, which was the Book-of-the-Month read for one of my groups, in December, but due to the holidays haven't had the time to finish it. I also started reading Cameron Dane-Something New yesterday.
I'm currently reading Born (B-Cubed #1) by Jenna McCormick, The Palace Job by Patrick Weekes and Killbox (Sirantha Jax #4) by Ann Aguirre. Actually I'm listening to Killbox on audiobook. I started listening to The Palace Job, but I have found that fantasy stories, with all the made up names and places and terms are a bit hard to follow on audio. I'm more of a visual person, so I switched to e-book. Luckily with Amazon's Kindle/Audible deals, this was no big deal. I just finished The Forbidden Rose (The Spymasters Lady #4) by Joanna Bourne. Though it is #4, it is actually a prequel and a good place to start with the series. Wonderful novel, with a fascinating look at the French Revolution.
I just finished The Lunatic Cafe by Laurell Hamilton. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book for Anita Blake Series.
I'm currently reading
as my first book of the year! It's amazing so far! It will be a good "first book" of 2014! Not a romance, but kind of a thriller/mystery. I'll post whether I like it when I'm done.

Currently reading "Love Betrayed" by Samantha Kane (#10 in her Brothers in Arms series), then I will read #11 "Defeated by Love". After that will be anybody's guess since I have over 1000 TBR books downloaded on my kindle. I might have to step up my goal for 2014 if I ever hope to get through all the books I have (and know I will be downloading tons more throughout 2014)! I think I should start a "Books Anonymous" group because, obviously, I am addicted to books...LOL
Yesterday I started
and it is funny. It's been a while since I've come across a book that has made me laugh quite a bit.
Finally getting around to reading Thoughtless. I've heard Kellan Kyle is a dream. I'm not feeling it yet but will persevere.
I just finished the second book by a new author Kennedy Layne. I got a snippet off the latest Kallypso Masters book that I finished out 2013 with Somebody's Angel, so I decided to check her out. I enjoyed it. It's a nice combination, action/thriller/erotica (touch of BDSM tossed in), hot ex-military men, need I say more?!
Just finished Summer is for Lover's by Jennifer McQuiston. This is a well done sophomore book and it was so lovely at the end! Needed a tissue and a fan because it was touching and hot! The Countess Conspiracy or No Good Duke Goes Unpunished is up next.
I just finished Captives of the Night by Loretta Chase. I've already started Again the Magic by Lisa Kleypas. I'm going to read her Wallflowers series again and I'm starting with this prequel book.
I a recently finished The Book Thief and rank it among the best books I've read to date. I delayed starting another book for a few days in order to savor it.
I just finished my 1st book of 2014, The Young and Submissive by Shayla Black, Jenna Jacob and Isabella LaPearl. This is book 2 of the series Doms of Her Life, now I just need to know when book 3 comes out!!
Lee wrote: "I a recently finished The Book Thief and rank it among the best books I've read to date. I was tempted to see the movie that just came out but I hesitate because I can't imagine how they could make the film experience as good as the book (plus I don't know how they handle the "narrator" and I thought if they didn't get that right it would be a deal breaker).
I'm halfway through Anna Campbell's A Rake's Midnight Kiss and also Katharine Ashe's Kisses, She Wrote. On my commute I'm listening to To Seduce a Sinner by Elizabeth Hoyt.
Finished Ethan Frome last night late (I have to stop drinking coffee in the evening- it was productive insomnia, but insomnia nonetheless). Remarkable book, but I'm glad I read it as an adult and not as a high school assignment. The bleakness that would have made me hate it then was what I found mesmerizing now.
I just started on Hellfire by Jean Johnson. It's the third in the series Theirs Not to Reason Why, and it's just as good as the first two. It's not your typical story, no sex or even romance but the storyline is intense, thought provoking, and very involving. It's hard to put down.
I've started three new novels - Prey & Prejudice by Marie Harte, Heart of Stone by Christine Warren and last, but not least, Born in Blood by Alexandra Ivy. =)
I just finished Sweet Talk by Julie Garwood and it was a great story like most of her books. I added it to my keepers.
I finished Skater Boy by Kay Manis.... 4 Stars. I really enjoyed this, have the 2nd to start, which is good as this had a cliffy...but i like to be tortured so thought I would read something else in between ;-)I am now on Destructive Silence by L.U Ann.
I finished Elizabeth George's latest Lynley book. It was sooo slow at first but the last 100 pages were great. I think it was far too long and needed to be cut, but I suppose she can do what she likes, lol.
I loved, loved, LOVED Sister by Rosamund Lupton! Seriously, it was so suspenseful and interesting and well-written and I cried a couple of times. Completely amazing. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend.
I just finished Fallen Crest Public by Tijan and loved it! The bad part is waiting for the next one.
Finished Willing and read just after the last volume of the trilogy And able by Lucy Monroe: great read and great trilogy. Also read Mes jours et mes nuits by Krystel March: I liked it but some points must be worked by the author and I didn't like one scene. Besides, I'm not found of BDSM, fortunately, this book was more alike Fifty shades so not a real BDSM one. This book was written by a French author and it's only available in French. It's a romantica.
