We hardly know Zoe Nightshade. She was introduced in Percy Jackson's third book and died in it. But, she was a strong-willed, self-reliant and courageous girl who had her feet firmly on the ground. Let us dedicate this discussion to her. Everybody is free to post their thoughts on Zoe Nightshade, the girl among the stars!!!

I never really liked her, but maybe I would have if we would have gotten to know her better. I do agree that she was strong, and brave, and courageous, but I needed to get to know her better to actually have a connection with her.
Zoe Nightshade is my favorite character above else. Even though she died on the third book, I really like her. Thus, she is the reason why my favorite book in the Percy Jackson Series is The Titan's Curse. :))
wouldn't it be weird if zoe nightshade was the same person as the zoe from kane chronicles but she just changed her last name?!?!?!?!

I couldn't believe a character like her could die so soon. it made me sad :|
Zoe Nightshade , what a beautiful character :) She died saving the world , Artemis will forever remember the girl who saved her life :)
She was pretty cool, I suppose.
I thought Zoe was a very strong character and how she (from my point of view) ended up trusting and helping Percy even after Hercules...She was one of my favorite characters and I was disappointed about her death but a think she would have been happy about Thalia joining the hunters and I think if she were alive the would have been good friends!
Man Zoe was awesome. Why did Rick Riordan had to kill her in the first book she came in? And also Bianca.
zoe according to me was strong but also very judgmental i thought if rick riordan hadnt killed her in the first book of her intro we could have gotten a better look on her character!!!!!!! well on the whole i think she is okay

Zoe herself, was a great character, with lots of spark, but i think that was not the wisest idea, to invite Thalia Grace to the Hunters at the time when Thalia was asked the first time. We may have, may not have gotten a better look at her character, that all depends on what rick would have written in the Battle Of The Labyrinth. yes, she was a great character.

Zoe is the best character of Percy Jackson books!!!!!I was very sad when she died but i think she will probably appear in the last book. That would be the best end of the serie
She is brave, intelligent and very kind with her friends so i think all of us need to remember her and try to convince Rick of the importance of Zoe
Zoe Nightshade, what can I say? She was courageous, independent, and strong (Physically and Mentally). She was such an inspiration, I say what her first words quoted in the book were in front of the mirror, pretending to be her. (NOT WEIRD!! SHE WAS VERY INSPIRATIONAL!!!) "Permission to kill, M' Lady." with my invisible bow with an arrow notched and targeting the invisible prey. Zoe Nightshade marched on her quest even though she knew she would not return, being killed by her own father. I feel it would be awesome that her constellation would shoot a star arrow at the enemy during the war in the last book. Then she would wink at the Campers fighting, giving them a good luck courage blessing. THAT WOULD BE SOOO COOL!!! Anyway, back to the serious. She stayed loyal to her Mistress, Artemis, the whole journey, even to the point of her dying breath. Zoe should have lasted at least to the end of the Labyrinth book. She was such a magnificent character she should be a bigger part in it. LONG LIVE THE GIRL AMONG THE STARS!!!

I also read Percy Jackson books and now I'm reading the third and I m on the last chapter .Her father killed her.
I love her. She's such a deep and complex character but she can also be judgemental. It's also funny when she tries to catch up with modern society and learn how to speak like them. And that "i have a dam problem" chapter? Hilarious. Her reaction. I really wish she wasn't killed. Then we would have gotten to know each other better, I feel like. I think she could have been useful in other parts of the following books and I think it would have been a bit better but it is Rick Riordan's decision, not mine. Sadly.
Zoe was my favorite in the book maybe in the hole seris. She was strong and all for gir lpower. But when Rick killed her i was pissed and at the same time really sad. My bff spoild me that she was going to die and i was like fuck. But when i read it i was crying so hard and i was broken. So i think Zoe did deserrve more than one book but she only got one booksadly.I just wannted to say this outloud. But my bff diden't suport me so that was mean.
I. LOVE. ZOE. She's one of the main reasons TTC is my favourite book in the series. She's such a strong, courageous, intelligent, strong-willed, powerful, and brave Hunter. Zoe was so loyal to Artemis, and more than willingly gave up her life to protect her. I absolutely adore the Hunters, which is another reason I love Zoe. It was so heartbreaking when she died - the saddest death I've ever read by far. I was only just holding back tears when she died, which is saying a lot, because I'm never close to crying when reading apart from then. She was such an amazing person. Zoe Nightshade, the brave Lieutenant of Artemis, will live among the stars forever
