I am FINALLY getting this book read. LOL

I don't know if anyone cares anymore, but I just finished Chapter 6:

It's really good so far, but is it just me or does this remind anyone else of Hunger Games in some ways?

Cia: (view spoiler)[Cia is strong like Katniss in HG. I am sure she'll go through a lot but come out ahead, but most likely not unscathed. I'm sad for her that she didn't get to say goodbye to Zeen. I hope she gets to do that or at least see him again. (hide spoiler)]

The Testing: (view spoiler)[Poor kids must be so anxious taking such lengthy tests that appear to be designed so that no one can finish them on time. It's freaky to think that your EVEY move is being watched AND part of the test. I'd be afraid to breathe to the wrong rhythm! (hide spoiler)]

Ryme: (view spoiler)[ Awe, poor thing...the first casualty. I am suspicious of everything that goes on there. She was very cocky and self-assured to have taken her own life, unless she was told she did poorly on the test. She sure "opted out" quickly! (hide spoiler)]

Cia (view spoiler)[ I like her too! She did seem a lot like Katniss. But Cia is more book smart, where Katniss is more survival smart? But they both have that way of reading a situation and people quickly and efficiently. (hide spoiler)]

The Testing (view spoiler)[ It's horrible! It gets SO intense and I can't even believe some of the things those kids go through and the adults just sit back and do nothing! Also it did have that HG feel to it, but in it's own way was still original. (hide spoiler)]

Ryme (view spoiler)[ Yeah, the pressure is awful! When I first read the synopsis for this I thought there was someone killing off the kids, so when I figured out that that wasn't the case I was kind of blown away by the craziness that was going on! (hide spoiler)]
