I just started the book. I started a little late. I've only read the first three chapters. So far, it's slowing bringing back where it left off in Bloodrose. I remember the wraith, Bosque Mar and all the freaking fighting. So, i'm liking the fact that there are so many POV's. We're definitely going to learn about the searchers in depth - hopefully. So far, it's good. I need to know more about Ren. Poor Ren..... more tomorrow and can't wait to read those spoilers! :0)

I really like the recap of most of the important events that happened in the previous trilogy. I agree Silvia it's slowlllly recapping for us and about the 3rd person POV following everyone, it's super great!! (view spoiler)[SO much has happened - first of all the thing that happened to Adne, what was that? Was Bosque trying to bring back Eira? Or was that something that didn't even happen (incase I missed it)and that she just dreamt/thought she saw happening? Because when she was with the nurses, they only mentioned how cold she became because of laying outside but no mentions to the ''scars'' that the rose torns must've given her? i'm sort of confused there but i think its the latter?? she just thought about it but it didnt really happen? except for the wolf howls and shay+ren dragging her of course (hide spoiler)]

I don't know, but I have a bad bad feeling about Ren being there! Like really bad! Is he going to try to control Ren? I want Ren to be there to protect Adne! To help her with whatever it is that Bosque is doing to her! But there are 3 books so I can only imgaine what will happen! GRR!

I'm so sad for Ren though! To be a ghost and not be able to have anyone see or hear you? It's awful!

Sorry for my lack of updates but I could barely put it down!!

WOWWW!!! Trisha you were SOO right because I truly LOOOVED this one oh my god. This is actually the first book I've given 5 stars this year, it was incredible! I just don't know but I seriously love and have a thing for the Nightshade-world, I've mentioned it before when we were reading the Nightshade trilogy but I love the craft, the Keepers concept the Searchers and the Scribers, the Weavers and basically everything about them and in the world ahh!! At first I thought it'd be an unnecessary addition to everything, without the Guardians and the characters I grew so fond of in the first series...but the author was able to nonetheless never let go of my attention while reading the book, I grasped onto every single word and since we barely got to know Connor, Ethan, Ariadne, Tess and Anika in the last Nightshade book - it was so great to see more depth to their characters in this book, and I'm excited for the upcoming instalments!! Even characters like Logan, from the first series, like we barely knew him but this all knowing POV drawing in on Logan too made me question all of my assumptions of him based on the first series and gosh I'm rambling!! I loved it.
