Casey (grizzly_bear) I am shooting for 50 books in 2014!

This will be a personal hurdle for me as I have slacked off tremendously when it comes to reading.

(Any suggestions on books would be greatly appreciated)

I am also the type of reader who delves into several books at once, so I am up for other challenges as well. (Time Permitting)

Wish me Luck!

Barbara (lv2scpbk) | 19 comments Casey, I don't know what you like to read but I love anything by Angela Hunt. Love Susan Wilson's books also.

We also do two animal books a month in my group called "All About Animals".

Not sure what you like to read though.

Casey (grizzly_bear) 4/50

1. Dead Pig Collector by Warren Ellis

2. NOS4A2 by Joe Hill

3. The 5th Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey

4. Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle, #1) by Christopher Paolini

Gideon Goatcher Casey, I see you have read some R.A. Salvatore. I highly recommend his Clerics quintet. As an avid (read rabid) fan of R.A. I cannot recommend this 5 book series enough. Often people find the Drizzt collection daunting with 26+ books, so I normally introduce people to R.A. with the Quintet.

Casey (grizzly_bear) I have read Homeland and loved it. I started Exile, but only read a few pages. It was good what I read of it but I got busy. :) I would have to say Gideon that Mr Salvatore is in my top ten authors. What is this Cleric quintet about? Does it tie in any to the Drizzt collection?

Gideon Goatcher The Quintet is a 5 book series he wrote early on about a different cast of characters, but in the same world. You will want to read the 5 books sooner rather then later, as these characters get tied into the Drizzt tale later in his series, at some really major plot points. Besides having their backgrounds already, The Quintet is a wonderful series and I actually rate them higher then most (but not all) the Drizzt books.
