2014 Reading Goals: What's your number?

Last year (2013) I didn't set any goal, and I didn't keep track how many books I read either.
Thus year my goal is 100.

@Hannelore I don't know. I know each month I read around 30 books. So that she get to my goal.

I did 154 last year, so this year I'm upgrading my goal to 200. I hope I can do it!

As it's my first job, it means going on a shopping spree, as I have too few clothes that I could use to work there... Why, oh why, can't I wear jeans and a T-shirt? LOL

Wow, guys! Impressive numbers. I am keeping it small - well, for most of you guys! - I just don't get a lot of time during school. Homework and studying is overwhelming during the term. I want to read 105 books this year. I read 104 last with a goal of 75, so I was happy with that.

My goal, not in numbers, is to read more sequels, finish off past series, write reviews more efficiently (I write them weeks after I read the book which isn't good because then I forget what I really thought!), read some classics (I haven't read many and I should) and make sure I always complete a buddy read. Also I would love to try and participate more here. I love all you guys and I wont to try and contribute more. :)

Neither can i. I had to wait about 3 days to write my review for the naturals, because of christmas day and stuff, and everything just went out my head. :(

I write notes when I am reading and usually I can remember everything important. I just need a day to stew over my feelings for it, then I need to write my review rather than wait a few more days.

I am going to start out with 50 books and if I read 50 books by halfway through the year I will no it up to 100.

That's a good idea ☺ I upped mine a couple of times last year, and then just tried to see if I could get it to say 200% completed, but I didn't quite make it!

I set my goal to 100, but according to Goodreads I'm already 4 books ahead of schedule. So I think I'll probably up it to 150 sometime this year.
