So does anyone have any good tips on pacing stories? Like how to separate all of the actions in the plot so that it flows better? I don't want one chapter to have all of the action and the next to be boring. A lot of times it feels like I'm rushing into it all. usually these things are fixed during revisions. But does anyone have any tips? :)

Alice (alice20) Well isn't that what books tend to do? Have an exciting action chapter and then a non-exciting chapter?
In terms of pacing, I tend to have trouble with it too... I say add dialogue and details about the setting if you think it's going too fast, and make the sentences short if you want the pacing to be faster.

Hmm. I guess. Some books are able to keep the action flowing throughout the book. And okay :)
