This is possibly one of their finest works. The entire album is brilliant. David Gilmore's guitar work is incredible. If you've never heard this album, do yourself a favor and immerse your mind into this awesome piece of music,

Back in the 90's when I was playing in the band, we used to go to this theater that did midnite concert films on Saturdays and there were 2 films we repeatedly went to see . One was "Live in Pompeii" and the other was "the grateful dead movie".

Ah of course it´s also performed in the opening titles of The Hunger ;) And featured in the movie The Collector ;)
