I've gotten into a habit lately of listening to Diecast, Disturbed, and System of a Down (Lonely Day is a great song!).
Druadan Forest - The Loremasters Time
Spk - Auto da FeKarl wrote: "Cabaret Voltaire - "Dead Man's Shoes""
From the less known collection "listen up with" (less known than Living Legends).
One of my favorite bands.
Katavasia - Sacrilegious Testament
I just wrote a blog about the songs that helped me focus on my books while I wrote them all (Check it out!). Has anyone else ever used that kind of strategy? If so, what kind of songs and how did it relate to your stories?
Warhammer - Discography
This German band was intended as the ultimate tribute/worship for Swiss extreme metal pioneers Hellhammer. The Warhammer guys even got era-appropriate instruments and recordings equipment to replicate the sound as closely and authentic as possible. However, I think Warhammer sounds more like an unadorned and more simplistic version of Celtic Frost than Hellhammer. Given Celtic Frost and Hellhammer were virtually identical, that shouldn't be too surprising either. However, this stuff here is fucking good!
