Janie and Rodney- You guys listen to the exact same things my son listens to. I've taken him to see Mayhem, Neurosis, and Gorguts in concert during the last few years. Portal is a little more than I can take though. Listening to Meatbodies-Wahoo
Totentanz , s126/R457 - Franz Liszt, Eldar Nebolsin, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Vasiliy Petrenko

Bat out of Hell: The Musical
Lowering, just found them on spotify. album is called Brooklyn. dark jazz + post-rock stuff. good stuff.
Dexter & Sinister from Elbow. Magnificent commentary on the right against the left and the current meltdown in my country over Brexit.
So everyone here seems to listen to music--I don't have time, cause there are always books in my ears! Just finished "The Lost Causes of Bleak Creek." This book just made me angry due to the promotion--the fact that it is a middle school aged juvenile, ie young YA, escaped me because that information was way down in the blurbs about this highly touted book. It was supposed to be "humorous," but I found it silly. Edgar Cantero writes similar--and better--stuff. I don't object to reading juvenile books. I've spent years as an elementary school and public library librarian, and quite often enjoy kid stuff. Just warn me up front!
