SOLVED. Group of teens caught up in war/post-apocalyptic? [s]

I read this book about five years ago and it was probably at least three years old at that time. This book has a group of teens that happen to be out of the woods when another government takes over. They may have been out on a camping trip? At some point, I believe a boy gets shot.

The book was very interesting, but I stopped reading fairly early on because at least two of the characters started making out and perhaps even having sex and I didn't read any books with sex at that time. Any ideas and help are appreciated!
