Twila Vernon | 1 comments I type as fast as I can! If I get an idea or a perfect phrase and I'm not near a keyboard, I write it down on something as fast as I can!

Heidi Parton (somethinglooseknit) | 8 comments I either type on a computer or write in a cheap, spiral-bound notebook, depending on where I am. I keep my notebook in my purse so that I can write on the go, but my laptop is my primary tool, and I transcribe what I write in my notebook (if it's worth keeping) to my computer at the next opportunity.

As a side note, I have to use a cheap notebook so that I don't feel bad when it gets beaten up in my purse or when I want to tear pages out of it. Pretty notebooks intimidate me--I can't get creative in them, for some reason--except in journaling, where I prefer something more whimsical to write in. I'm a little neurotic, I guess. Haha

Wayne Stinnett (wayne_stinnett) | 13 comments I drive a truck, so if I get an idea while I'm driving, I record it on my phone. When I write, it's on the laptop.

George McNeese At first, I used to do all my writing on a computer. But, it was too easy to edit while typing, and it bece frustrating because I would get nothing accomplished. So, for my drafts, I use pen and paper, make notes on separate pages, then type the revised work. Even then, I'll try to go through a setting without editing until I completely finished and print out a draft.
