Now Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.

I just started this a while ago when I was falling in line and had nothing to do!

I am really confused right now with what's actually happening, but I find it easy to go along with the story. Must be good! I'm on Chapter 4 now.

I think that (view spoiler)[ she was annoyed about the extra year because she thought that she was going to be frozen for a year before the ship launched, and she wanted to spend that year with her friends and boyfriend rather than frozen, even if it meant being a year older when she left.

I think only people who were wanting to travel to a new planet that was 300 years away were being frozen, just so they would still be alive by the time they got there. I agree its a horrible process though.

I think Amy is only aware to some extent, she starts to dream after a while.

Confused again. What planet is Elder from? And so is Amy? Why is Earth like have two names or whatever? And why is Amy aware yet her heart doesn't beat? Must be the cause of the freezing process.

The Elder/Eldest was explained but I still want to know more about it, like how do they choose their leaders. I thought at first it was by family but then Elder mentioned he never met his parents. Their society is odd, reminds me of Divergent — they are monoethnic. It's like they're numb, haha. No variety.

I think both Amy and Elder are from Earth, but Elder is weird because the people on the ship have formed their own sort of community and way of life over the years.

don't know much about cryogenesis, I guess she used poetic licence a bit.
