Charlotte is probably one of the sweetest persons you'll ever meet. Servants, especially female ones, get treated badly by both men and women; especially men, because they get assaulted a lot, but Charlotte knows how to stand up for herself, in a quiet way though. She has always been more of the quiet type, who doesn't let a lot get to her. She keeps to herself a lot, barely able to have friends because of money. She has one friend, Brenna, her best friend, who is also a maid at the castle. She's very sweet and never says a bad thing about anyone. She's very scared to lose her job and will not say anything bad because of it.
[History]
Charlotte was born in Church, one of the most poor districts of London. She grew up with her mother and her father, and her five siblings. She had two brothers and three sisters. She was the second eldest. Winnie, was the oldest daughter, at twenty-five. Than came Charlotte, then came Bill of fifteen and Lily of thirteen. Jonathan and Sandra were both nine years old and twins. Winnie had totally abandoned their family when she left off to marry some stranger from a far land, and now the care for the family has fallen to Charlotte. Her father was left a widower at age 42 and had been bitter since. Charlotte worked all day and night to provide for their family, seeing her father didn't and wouldn't take care of them. Charlotte got a job at the Royal Palace as a maid. It was a job with a low salary, but it was something at least for someone without education. Robin couldn't read, or write, which was strange for that time, but they just didn't have the money for school, not for six kids.

Imagine being forced to marry a girl you barely knew when your personalities didn't match at all and you barely had time to comprehend this marriage. You'd be a little rebellious too, right? Lucien was generally a very rebellious bloke who often found himself in bed with other ladies, doing all he could to get out of this arranged marriage. It never worked.
Lucien's a feisty character who goes out his way to make things a pain in the ass for his parents, mostly as revenge for making him marry somebody he truly wasn't interested in. Right now, his rebellious stage was with a servant who he'd had intimate sex with for a few times now, but he never really showed any real feelings towards her.

"Morning, Charlotte," the prince said as he rose from his bed, completely naked. Well, I say completely naked, he was covering his pits with some loose bottoms. Though, it was safe to say he was pretty much bare. "You're looking wonderful this morning, I must say..." he said, sending a wink to her.

She had been working here for a month now, and had heard about the prince, and had seen him with other maids, like her friend, Jane. "Morning, your Majesty," she said softly, not replying to his other comment. She knew what he was trying to do, but she wouldn't ruin her reputation.
The prince was a handsome guy with a good body and incredible tactics when it came to sex, as most of the maids knew. God, he'd do anything to scare his fiancee off. He hated her, truly. "Hm, would you make my bed for me?" he asked as he sat at the table, looking at the breakfast that had been made for him. He wasn't actually that hungry, but ate some anyway. "Want some?" he asked, grinning.
"That is my job," she resisted the urge to roll her eyes. She made her way over to his bed and began to neaten it. God, he was a messy sleeper. He had thrown all the sheets to the side. She made his bed and then turned to him again. "Um, no, thank you," she blushed a little. God, she blushed so easily, but he was getting on her nerves.
"You sure? Somebody as beautiful as you needs to keep healthy, right?" Lucien asked as he rose from his seat. "You really do have a nice body," he complimented her, his hands on her waist. "I take it you've heard from the other maid's what I like to do? Oh, come on. I have my fiancee, I just wanna enjoy this whilst I can..." Lucien said. Though, he had no interest in a relationship.
Charlotte blushed furiously as he did that and gasped, pushing him away. "It isn't proper! You can't do this. You are supposed to marry Princess Stefani and you cannot do that to me. I don't want to either," she shook her head at him. Even though she was barely able to stand up for herself, she'd never let him.
"Aw, but I don't wanna marry Princess Stefani, she's so dull... You can't think for a second that somebody so lifeless would want to marry me, either. "Who cares if it isn't proper? I'm young and I'm free! Well, kind of. Oh, are you really that boring? Maybe I'll even add a little more on your wage this week, and I might throw in a few new clothes, too," he grinned. Adam was a real charmer, and his smile was something to fall for.
Charlotte knew she could use the money. Her salary was poor, and she could barely provide for her family. She bit her lip, knowing she shouldn't accept. She didn't want to make a deal with him. "No, I won't. I might be boring, but I'm not selling my body, your Majesty,' she curtsied and shook her head, leaving the room afterwards. He really was persistent.
"Alright alright, leave me with my horrific Fiancee..." Lucien complained, sitting himself down. He knew she'd have to return soon, as he was due for a fresh set of clothes today, and she was his only maid on duty today. That was because the rest of were ill or working for Lucien's sister, Princess Leiana.
Charlotte came back some time later, with some new freshly washed clothes of his. She folded it up nicely in the closet, ignoring him. He was really working on her nerves, and she didn't like it. It was annoying and tiring. God, he was such a charmer, but she resisted it. His pretty face wasn't going to be the ruin of her.
Lucien gave Charlotte and appreciative smile and took the clothes as well as her hand, "Look who's back," he said happily. Right now, he desperately needed her body. "Come on, just once, please?" Lucien practically begged, his fingers tracing her figure. He wouldn't be as cruel as to demand her to have sex with him.
Charlotte blinked rapidly as he took her hand and traced her figure. She blushed and shivered pleasantly. "No, I do not work at a brothel," she shook her head wildly at him. What was he thinking? No, she couldn't sleep with him! It would ruin any chance at having a husband. Then her virginity and dignity would be gone.
