Native thought on The Man in the High Castle

Hi all.
Recently I've finished Dick's The Man in the High Castle. Many peoples told me it was Dick's best book but after finishing it a was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's a great book but i was expecting much more. I think it may be the problem of translation or the fact that i'm european. So I would like some americans to share their thoughts about this book.

I'm not American, but I did enjoy The Man in the High Castle quite a lot.
