Kevin Cullis | 4 comments In the early 1970s I was in Junior High school and read my first SciFi novel. I don't remember the title or the author, but here is the plot:

Twin boys (twenty somethings?), one traveling in commercial space, the other on Earth. The earth twin was in a bar, the seedy side of the future city, his space traveling twin returned to earth, the earth bound twin stole his identity and took his place in his job and when into space. The earth bound twin in space becomes a very rich man and heard of the holy grail of a new space engine. The earth twin used his wealth and went in search for it, finding the eccentric scientist's lab on Venus in a cave where he had his notes. The earth bound twin then took his wealth and used his money to design and build the new engine and ship. He then caught his brother in space with his new space engine and ship, and reconciled, thus ending the story.

Would STILL love to know the book, to read it after 45 years to see what I remember versus what was written. Thanks for commenting. :D
