i would definitely recommend the Lords of Var series but that is actually the spinoff series so i would start with the Dragon Lords series The Barbarian Prince

I finished
it was a good entertaining read . The only problem was the amount eye rolling I was required to do while reading this! The guys were walking ,talking and fighting with (view spoiler) throughout the whole book! It was the same in the first book.I started

LK - It is VERY dark in my opinion. I think every character in the book is messed up in the head LOL. BUT I'm loving it so far! I love these types of books :) I wanted something different, a Thriller, instead of a Romance, well.. I got what I wanted ! Have you read Gone Girl by her?

I just saw that my library has that on audio . I want to try something different like this book but I'll until you finish it !
LOL ShoSho, I enjoyed it. BUT I will warn you, it's Dark and twisted and well, all the characters in my opinion are messed up in the head lol. But, It was fast paced and engrossing and I enjoyed it.

Shosho, It wasn't scary or anything its just twisted. The main character is definitely troubled and she's trying to find out the 'truth" about what happened to her family 20 something years ago. She's just a weird person and her entire family was strange lol. My friend and I read it together and it was fun discussing our povs and what we thought was going to happen too!

Saving JusticeI'm stalled out in this book. I picked it because I'm an animal lover and support my local rescue shelter. The heroine in this book works at a shelter rehabilitating emotionally damaged dogs, so I thought it would be a good fit for me. It was until I hit the mid-point of the book. Now there is too much on the therapy side of the the heroine overcoming her own history of abuse. I just don't know if I'll finish it. Has anyone else read this and had the same problem?

I haven't read that book, Kim, even though at first it sounds like it is right up my alley. I agree with you; I wouldn't want it to go where it went, though.

Yeah, I started into the third one after binging on the first two. I liked the beginning of that one, ShoSho, but stopped it after the first few chapters. I wanted to keep the high of the first two under my belt.
