ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments I finished Forged In Ash (Red-Hot SEALs, #2) by Trish McCallan it was a good entertaining read . The only problem was the amount eye rolling I was required to do while reading this! The guys were walking ,talking and fighting with (view spoiler) throughout the whole book! It was the same in the first book.

I started Good Cop, Bad Girl by Paige Tyler for Double Decker

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Hayley, how are you liking Dark Places by Gillian Flynn ? Is it pretty dark?

message 362: by Hayley (new)

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments LK - It is VERY dark in my opinion. I think every character in the book is messed up in the head LOL. BUT I'm loving it so far! I love these types of books :) I wanted something different, a Thriller, instead of a Romance, well.. I got what I wanted ! Have you read Gone Girl by her?

message 374: by Hayley (new)

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments Shosho, It wasn't scary or anything its just twisted. The main character is definitely troubled and she's trying to find out the 'truth" about what happened to her family 20 something years ago. She's just a weird person and her entire family was strange lol. My friend and I read it together and it was fun discussing our povs and what we thought was going to happen too!

Kim Bussey (KimBussey) | 37 comments Saving Justice

I'm stalled out in this book. I picked it because I'm an animal lover and support my local rescue shelter. The heroine in this book works at a shelter rehabilitating emotionally damaged dogs, so I thought it would be a good fit for me. It was until I hit the mid-point of the book. Now there is too much on the therapy side of the the heroine overcoming her own history of abuse. I just don't know if I'll finish it. Has anyone else read this and had the same problem?
