Nichole | 512 comments Oh, I want to read Up From the Grave (Night Huntress, #7) by Jeaniene Frost ! I know all things must come to an end, but I don't have to like it :)

I'm listening to A Hidden Fire (Elemental Mysteries, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter and really liking it. It took me a little while to get into it but I'm hooked now. It reminds me a lot of A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness .

I'm also reading The Smoke Thief (Drakon, #1) by Shana Abe , which Santa picked for me. *whispers* Apparently, I've read it before, years ago, oops. Luckily, I'm not recalling much, so it's like a new book! :)* Really liking it so far.

Hmmm I don't mind things coming to an end with Cat and Bones. I think it should be finished while the series is on top.
My e-library has the audio and I'm the first on the hold list!

KarenF (cleocleveland) | 458 comments I agree with you both. :) I was sad to see them go but I'd rather the series end and miss it than have it start to go way downhill (Sookie Stackhouse - I'm looking at you).

But I really hope she's not done with the larger world just yet. I really want Ian to have a book!

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments I started listening to A Woman Entangled by Cecilia Grant this morning.
One of the best things about it is the narrator Susan Ericksen .She is the narrator of the In death series too but her voice for characters is so distinct and her English accent is so good that I never think of Eve or Roarke when listening to this series.

I hate it when authors do that. They force the reader to read their next book!

I see you give it 5 stars. Glad you like it, Shosho :D. I can't wait for Revenant's story.

I finish Truce The Historic Neighbor from Hell (Neighbor from Hell, #4) by R.L. Mathewson , and really love it! My first 5 stars for this year (others I just give 4,5 stars). End up re-read it again, lol!

It was the best one in the "Lords of deliverance" series and maybe the second best in the whole "Demonica series".

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments I've never read a zombie book , I should give one a try. How was the one you read Carolyn?

message 140: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I liked it a lot but I would start with her first book The First Days, that one was really good. I still have flashes of this book when I walk out of my house in the morning.

I see you don't mind a little romance (wink wink) and Reawakening. This one made a little more sense with the zombies disintegrating and the romance was really good too. :)

Zombies are fun! Lol :D

I'm reading a cozy-type mystery right now, How to Wash a Cat (The Cats and Curios Mystery Series, #1) by Rebecca M. Hale . It's kinda fun, a little silly maybe, but I'm liking it well enough. Almost finished though, so next up I'm going to read The Prince Kidnaps a Bride (Lost Princesses, #3) by Christina Dodd and finish off that little trilogy.

Yes, kind of. You're going out to get your newspaper, here comes your neighbor you think to say hi along with the boy down the street - how nice. NOT! Now I look at everybody in the neighborhood with a stink eye and try to stop myself from running back into the house. :)
