, I think the narration is horrible. It's nasal and she inserts a moan in most words or..."I tried listening to Archangels blade and hated the narration, then I tried Angels flight. I went back and read the books and enjoyed them. So I stopped buying this series in audio.
I've had the same issue with this narrator on other series, so when I see her name, I don't buy at audible
ShoSho wrote: "I should start listening to samples before buying!"I can't stand that narrator.
BTW, I finished
Oh, yeah. I tried to listen to a book narrated by her before and had to drop out of the "buddy read." (Of course, the book wasn't that great, either.) Luckily, it was a library download. ShoSho, you should return the book for a credit. As long as you don't make a habit of it, Audible.com is pretty good about it.

I finished audio of
, I don't know. I liked it but I'm so over these stories where guys hold all the cards in a sexual relationship and the chick goes along for the ride. I just reeks of desperation.
is my new audio choice, I need some Scottish brogue in my life
I finished
and am currently reading
. This is a wonderful series that is very well written with strong female characters. Loving it! ; )

Lisa Kay wrote: "Thanks, Ezi!"I am trying to decide if I read book 2 of that series (abandoning my other reading plans) or put it off until January.
Having a reading plan something sucks, but I must since I enter into so many challenges
Yes, challenges are a "Catch-22." They open you up to new books and authors; however, they make you tow the line to complete them.

That's why I am trying to come up with a new plan for next year. I am leaning towards challenges where I pick my own books myself...but I love those BINGO games too :(
I am such a sucker for challenges
I'm reading
which is much better than I thought it would be . The mystery is intriguing and although I have my guess I'm not sure what's going to happen.
Lisa Kay wrote: "I know, I know. Maybe I should join you. You want to do a quickie "Buddy Read"?"I'm at 50% but yes a buddy read sounds great. I can switch to something else while you catch up.

I really enjoyed it. I'm not disappointed in my Christmas book list at all. Santa is too smart for words! I must have been a good girl! LOL!
