M.J. Fields (mjfieldsbooks) | 16 comments I am pulling Men of Steel Novella because I am adding it to Jase. Can someone assist in taking it down completely? I would Like Jase to be listed as book 1, Jase and Carly as 1.5, and Cyrus book 2.
I also have two video's I would like added. One is to Jase heres the you tube link

Understood. The problem is that Men of Steel has over 500 ratings and over 70 reviews. It cannot be removed from Goodreads.

It CAN be removed from the series, I think, although there is nothing to stop someone else from creating a new series which includes Men of Steel. Shall I remove it from the series? The alternative could be to just mark it as not a primary book but leave it in there for information.

M.J. Fields (mjfieldsbooks) | 16 comments Okay, sorry I'm really unfamiliar with the process. Is there a way to say its no longer in publication or that its now included in Jase? Or should I do that in the description?
Thank you for all your help.
MJ

We keep these books so that people who already have it can keep it on their shelves and have a complete record of everything that they have read by you.

The best way is for you to add something to the blurb. You can say it is Out of Print and included in Jase. You shouldn't completely blank out the existing blurb. Do you want the book removing from the series and the series renumbering?

M.J. Fields (mjfieldsbooks) | 16 comments No I think it best to do what you had mentioned. I will just add a blurb. Is there a way to post the videos?

Thanks Again,
MJ

If you want the videos on your author profile then only you can add them 'cos you are a Goodreads Author.

I've added the links to the blurb.

Yes, you can mark it as no longer in publication. Just edit book description (or ask a librarian to do) using the policy/phrasing in librarian manual at https://www.goodreads.com/librarian_m... or under help screens at https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3... , both of which say:
"Goodreads policy is to keep all editions, even out-of-print ones.

Authors may wish to indicate that such an edition is out of print. That is acceptable, as long as all of the following guidelines are followed:
1) The information should be listed in the description field, not the edition field or the title field.
2) This information should be added to any existing description. It should not replace it.
3) The information should be listed discreetly. No all-caps, italics, or bold, please.
4) No sales links or other external links. A link to another edition on Goodreads is fine."
