May June july | 1 comments The book is set up in 3 different point of views from the 3 main character.
Each chapter is dedicated to each character and it continues this way until they all coincide together.

The characters are the detective, a woman who's a serial child kidnapper, she kidnaps young boys, and the guy who loves the woman and is her accomplice.

The woman kidnaps young boys because she lost her son or some sort and this is her delusion where she thinks these boys are her son. She kidnaps them and bring them to motels and live with them for a few days until she gets out of her delusion and knows they are not her kid and she becomes depressed and the lover guy loves her and kidnaps these young boys for her even though he does not want to, and he kills them after she is done with them. There's a detective who is trying to catch the both of them.

All I can remember is that it is told in each perspective point of views and there's a razor blade on the cover.

I read it back in 2004/2005.

Please, please help me!!

May--you only need to post a thread once. After that, you just go in to the Comment box of that thread and type Bump (or some other comment) to take it back to the top of the queue. If someone asks you a question, that will also bump the thread. Since this IS a duplicate, and the other thread has no messages except for your description, I'm going to delete it for you.

Sharp Objects for the click for FlowerFairy's suggestion.

A book away from an episode of hoarders (fidgit77) | 257 comments It's definitely not Sharp Objects (cover fits but not story) but I hope someone recognizes this book because I'd like to read it.

Oh and *bump*

Cyndi Kuhn | 2 comments I've been looking for this book for years as well, I finally found it. It's called Edge of Sleep, by David Wiltse.

The Edge of Sleep for Cyndi's click. and the cover is The Edge of Sleep by David Wiltse (although it's a little hard to tell that that is a razor blade from the size of the picture on GR.)

May, can you confirm that "The Edge of Sleep" was your book?
