Hello. I am a fan of both and it never really occurred to me. I don't see it. Homeland is based on an Israeli show called Prisoners. John wells was undercover and Brody was captured. Similarities but not based on no.

I read the article. Yes their are similarities, but it's a story that has been repeated several times. I don't think it's unique to this show. And given that the Israeli show is the same I don't see it being a true copy.
