Hello there. I'm currently trying to remember a book/series of books that I read as a child. I think it was around the late 80's/ early 90's. The book was based around a main character that would be on an adventure and would get into some sort of trouble. The character would then have to get out of trouble. When this happened there would be a picture in the book and the reader would have to try and find the way the character would get out of trouble. One of the books had the character rope bound in a shack and the way the character broke out was by rubbing the rope on a broken bottle. Any help finding this book would be great.

It was similar to those books but more modern looking and the pictures in the books were more like cartoon drawings.
