The Plot Thickens is the first sequel of Bird Of Prey (52000 words). It's a 23000 words Novella taken place during the same time of the first novel but seen through a complete different perspective. I might need to read Bird Of Prey to understand the Plot Thickens. I will supply both books as PDF is necessary but I'm also curious to see if it could be read on its owns. As it is a mystery series, I tried not to put too much information in the second about the first one and spoil it for anyone who wanted to read the first one. There are a lot if unexplained back story in both novels and it is on purpose.

Sémya Slotin had spent the last three years living in London with her best friend Polliannah Koch staying away from solving cases. After Hawaii, she was taking a break from puzzles, cases and mysteries that could potentially get her killed. Johanna was his girlfriend, his muse and he loved her. Sémya didn’t see the dead bodies piling up or the conspiracy theories.
