@Bree I loved crown of midnight! I think it may have been my favorite of all the books so far. I haven't finished Queen of shadows yet but I am totally team Rowan right now! I love Aelin's relationship with him. I'm not sure how I feel about Queen of shadows yet. There is too much DRAMA for me. Like everyone just needs to chill and get over themselves. They need to get a life and stop complaining about everything. (I meant Queen of shadows not crown of midnight in my update post, sorry about that lol) what do you think of the series so far?

I'm hoping Celaena marries who she wants to marry not who she is told, and man do hope she marries Rowan ... or worst case scenario Dorian to unite the kingdoms.
OH MY GOODNESS Queen of Shadows was so good, as soon as they started describing a figure in the alleyway I prayed it was Rowan. The jealousy coming from the guys is hilarious.

I read a few more pages of Queen of Shadows last night, and it was the part where (view spoiler)[Aedion and Rowan stare each other down. It was so funny. I do feel bad for Aedion. Celaena never told him that Rowan took the blood oath. The news came to light at the worst possible moment. I hope Aedion can calm down, and doesn't do anything stupid. And, I don't feel sorry for Celaena when Chaol called her a monster. She has blamed everything on him and called him a coward... so, they both act like children. (hide spoiler)] So, yeah, I'm trying to finish Queen of Shadows so I can read A Court of Thorns and Roses:)

Your parents really took it away from you? See, I never was a reader when I was younger. I even said I hated reading. But then a read a Sarah Dessen book and fell in love with it. Then I just couldn't stop reading. I found the types of books I liked and now books are most of what I spend my money on lol

DORIAN. I mean, initially, I liked them both in fairly equal measure, but, as the series has progressed... I don't know. I guess I just don't see Chaol and Celaena together anymore. I mean, I still like the characters, and there was a period (view spoiler)[ with the Sorscha thing (hide spoiler)] where I didn't think there was any possibility of Dorian and Celaena ending up together, and that upset me more than I thought it would. It's kind of hard to explain, but I don't think Chaol and Celaena deserve each other anymore... If that makes sense. Which it probably doesn't.

And Dorian's just so sweet... And charming. And powerful. And...beautiful.

Oh well. If Celaena doesn't have him, then at least he can be MINE ;)

Hmmm I'm actually doing okay with the wait this time...I enjoyed the last book but it was probs my least favourite so far - just a few things I thought could have been handled better, but I'm sure it will all pan out once the series is complete - and the lack of cliffhanger also helps a lot. Obviously I really want to read the next one but I'm not dying for it like I was last year. There are a lot of other books I'm finding I'm way more excited about e.g. and - I am pretty much marking off the days for those ones!

Dorian. I think he was actually nice to her. I'm only on the first book, though, and I think Chaol warms up to her more in the sequel. It's just from my limited amount of knowledge in the first book, Dorian seemed better. He has more warmth, I guess, and also seems like he cares more. (Pls. no The Selection fans kill me if I compare Dorian/Celaena to Maxon/America? I think it's accurate, but if you don't, that's your opinion.)

Team Dorian cuz Dorian loves everypart of her and Chaol doesn't.He's can't accept her true self and chooses only some parts of her that he will love.He is conflicted by his loyalty to the King meanwhile Dorian isin't.Dorian is passionate and believes more in love than in duty which is why I believe he is what Celaena needs in her life, someone who will put her above everything else.

Yeah, I finished the parts of the series that have come out (can't with for Empire of Storms!!!!), and I am TEAM ROWAN; but given a choice between Dorian and Chaol, I would chose Chaol. Dorian is a really good character; in fact, I like him better than Chaol, but Dorian deserves to be with other characters. Chaol seems to fit Celeana's personality more, but Rowan is still better, sorry to say to Chaol.
