Team Chaol or Team Dorian! Comment plz!
When i say this it doesn't mean i don't like Dorian, i love all of them but at the end of the day how can you not be on team Chaol. Sarah J. Maas basically wrote in the book that it would always be Chaol. But that's not even probably why most of us like him. They just have so much in common and their relationship is far more developed than Dorian and Celaena's is. I still love them both and i think in the end i would be happy with whoever Celaena/Sarah chooses because there would be a good reason!

Rowan's going to die. He has to! There is absolutely no way he could be a "third option". I think Rowan was added just to throw people off for a little bit. Trust me. Rowan is just going to be the little sidekick until he eventually dies...I hope. I feel seriously sorry for Team Chaol. (Heir of Fire Spoiler) Once she threw away that ring, it was practically over between them. The weight has been lifted! Dorian on the other hand...I have no idea what's going to go down between Celaena and him when they meet. I hope Celaena doesn't try to kill him!
Team Celaena, but without a doubt I love Chaol more. But I also love Dorian. But, can she just be with her puppy?

Here's even more hope for ya: Dorian is a monster minion thingy now. I'm sure we won't get to see him and Celaena interact anytime soon. Chaol will most likely run into Celaena a few times, I think. He might say something like, "Where's my ring?" and she'll say, "I had to let you go..." Oh...that's not helping is it? Well, I don't want Chaol to end up with Celaena and they might not agree with each other when they meet again (you know, cuz of the ring), and Dorian isn't really "in the right condition" at this time, so, Team Chaol and Team Dorian might be 50/50 right now. *sniffles*

Celaena was never serious about Dorian, evidenced by her "I'll always choose you" to Chaol at the end of CoM - I know she took off his ring and there will probably be a whole "I've let you go" (Celaena) "but I've finally accepted you for who you are" (Chaol) "it's too late" (celaena) in the next book - but Chaol won't give up that easily! There's still 3 more books, Maas has to complicate things and keep us guessing til the end doesn't she?
I think the important thing is to remember that Maas said that there are some steamy times in QOS.... Soooo... One could only assume it's something to do with Celaena.... And Chaol. BECAUSE Dorian's kinda AWOL, Rowan is clearly platonic and friend-zoned for good, and Aedion is kinda cousin-zoned. Maayyybeee.. It's when they become better aquatinted with one another by telling the truth in their relationship!

(I've been holding off my re-read til the end of August to prevent the inevitable hangover...it's actually worked pretty well :))...anyway I think she's going to play a big role in the next few books - who knows, maybe she ends up with Dorian?
Although I actually haven't seen what Maas said specifically so she may have actually said that the 'steaminess' involves Celaena

I have just had an incredibly alarming thought - the release of
brought about quite a heated debate with one of my friends about good guys vs bad boys, which eventually turned to my love of the ultimate bad boy in recent years - The Darkling...So, my thought was - what if Dorian becomes some kind of Darkling-esque bad boy with that collar thing? That would make him so much more interesting and I fear my loyalty to Chaol might waver....
I can't let go of Dorian. Throne of Glass is honestly one of the most romantic books I've ever read, so I was left heartbroken when it ended. I think their little romance was beautiful, even though it only lasted for so long :L
Imagine how awesome it would be if Celaena and Chaol just kept going like friends. I wish someone could write a realistic book where two people of the opposite sex weren't attracted to each other. I mean, that happens to me every day! :D
Ikr! That would be awesome! Two characters being attracted to each other is starting to get old. Why can't the characters just have a really cute friendship? I would definitely like Celaena and Chaol to be just friends.
Lol it's a little late for the platonic route now! But I agree, there needs to be more books with guy/girl buddyship (actually Celaena and Rowan have that kind of rship in book 3 and hopefully beyond)My biggest hate is when there's a girl who has a guy best friend who of course has secretly been in love with her the whole time but the girl doesn't show an inkling of interest until a complication pops up with the guy she's actually into! (E.g. The Iron Fey, The Mortal Instruments etc)

I feel that Nox will come back into the main arc of the story and be one of the endless possibilities of suitors for her. I mean she could rule without a man, but she can't necessarily have an heir to the throne without a man. Lol

Dorian is funny, entertaining, attractive and caring. Chaol is protective but kind of boring. I don't see why everyone seems to be shipping Celaena with Chaol at all. It makes me so very happy that someone ships Celorian as much as i do and I totally agree with you that Dorian will be back!

Team Chaol! But I can't decide if I want her to be with him or keep him all to myself. I like Dorian but I like his other love interest better. And Rowan and her are not interested in being romantic at all, and I want him for myself.
I was team Chaol, but after reading what happened in Crown of Midnight, I think Chaol and Dorian would be safer if they kept away from her. So team no-one until Celaena can control her rage.

There are still three books (possibly four as she has said its possible this could stretch into seven books) to go. And as the story continues I think Celaena I becoming less feral/wild and more powerful.
Even if they're not together together I still hope Celaena and Chaol at least find each other in book 4 - I really enjoyed their friendship in the first book and I think Celaena needs that right now
Hi Ash,Ha! I was just thinking Sarah J. Maas reminded me of George RR Martin. In the way that anything could happen in the story.
I haven't read Heir of Fire yet... it is coming in the mail tomorrow!!:):) Some crazy things happened in Crown of Might... I have so many questions. In the end I hope Celaena can truly forgive Chaol because it was just a horrible mistake.
I recently looked at an interview with SJM and she seemed to be favouring Dorian because when describing the characters she starts off with him as well as call him really hot.She even forgot to talk about Chaol when talking. I am glad because I root hard for CELORIAN.!!!!!

There is a LT in the book I am writing - one of the guys I personally think is really hot and the other one I don't find attractive at all...however that is just my taste...and it's the one I don't find attractive that ends up with my MC.
Perhaps you're right, perhaps Dorian and Celaena do end up together, but it won't be because Maas prefers him over Chaol, it will be because he's the best match for Celaena...and so far that's been proven not to be the case
I'm actually hoping for a happy ending:) But, anything could happen.
When I was reading Crown of Midnight, and when I got to the part about where Dorian was talking about how Chaol didn't accept Dorian truly about him having magic and so did Celaena. I kinda agreed to that. I feel like Chaol is very skeptical about Celaena being fae. In Dorian's place he understands Celaena and has loved her from the very beginning. BUT then again there's Rowan (which is not part of the discussion but still)

Team Chaol, Well, I think Chaol is a better match for Celaena. It's just like the feeling when they are together just feel so right. Dorian and Celaena is cute together but i think its like a 'puppy love', like they are attracted to each other like how a girl ( not all girls. Just an example.) see a really good looking guy and want to hug him or something.However, Chaol gives her support and push her on. These are just my opinions, ok? :)
Dorian. Dorian hands down. For one thing, the only spoken reason that Celaena left Dorian at the end of book one (and I, for one, felt that that scene was phrased that way for a reason) is that she felt it would be too difficult for them to be together when she had to hide her identity... SPOILERS AHEAD
But now (hopefully) she no longer has to! She can be Aelin and be with Dorian and make me a happy reader!!!
Okay so I finished reading the first book, and all I can say now is that I'm team Chaol! Love him
