Have you read Miss Peregrine's? It's really good! Very creepy! lol! :D
I am reading it now but I will still be reading it when you start. I'd love to join both of you in reading this.
I am going to have to start early because I had to get it from my library's ebooks on overdrive because there was no way I would get it anytime soon with my library's physical book.

I hope you like it! You're going to post your comments right? And then Jacquelyn, Elizabeth and I can read it next week!
I can't wait to see what you think of it! :D
Of course, I'm already almost a third of the way through. It's really hard to put down.(view spoiler).

Is it creepy? Like with Miss Peregrine's?
As of right now, I don't think it's as creepy, but I definitely think it is just as good as Miss Peregrine's.
I'm halfway done and it is so hard to put down!I don't think the pictures are as good as the ones in Miss Peregrine, but I still like them.
Finished it, not all of my questions were answered but there is supposed to be a sequel, so I'm not that upset.I did enjoy it more than Miss Peregrine's though. Can't wait to see your thoughts on it.
I read a few pages last night and it is pretty intriguing so far! Never have much time to read on Wednesdays so I doubt I will get any further in this one today! :(
Jacquelyn do like this one so far? Do you want to do the same for this one as we are for Book of Broken Hearts?
5 chapters is about 48 pages, but that with all the pictures. 10 chapters in about 96, just let me know what you think. :)
ok I'm 5 chapters in and it's already getting weird and creepy! Dan (view spoiler)
Abby (view spoiler)
The office (view spoiler)
It was not just you. I had those same questions when I was going through the book. Although, I still don't know about Jordan's lol
Chelsea wrote: "It was not just you. I had those same questions when I was going through the book. Although, I still don't know about Jordan's lol"Ok good! Because they're all acting strange! lol! :D
I'll get back to this one later! :D
15 chapters inI have no idea what is going on! I have absolutely no theories! At all!
(view spoiler)
I don't know what to think about anything! But it's still good and holding my interest!
Kathy wrote: "15 chapters inI have no idea what is going on! I have absolutely no theories! At all!
None of my questions have been answered! Not even close!
-Dan is still having nightmares and is now gettin..."
You will continue to have more questions. I never had a stable theory, it was always altering, but in the end, I ended up getting at least most of it correct, some of it I didn't, but the book definitely held my attention all the way through.
Yea, for the most part it ends with you having all the answers, but because it's a series, to me I felt like it had a major cliffhanger.

Synopsis~
Asylum is a thrilling and creepy photo-novel perfect for fans of the New York Times bestseller Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
For sixteen-year-old Dan Crawford, New Hampshire College Prep is more than a summer program—it's a lifeline. An outcast at his high school, Dan is excited to finally make some friends in his last summer before college. But when he arrives at the program, Dan learns that his dorm for the summer used to be a sanatorium, more commonly known as an asylum. And not just any asylum—a last resort for the criminally insane.
As Dan and his new friends, Abby and Jordan, explore the hidden recesses of their creepy summer home, they soon discover it's no coincidence that the three of them ended up here. Because the asylum holds the key to a terrifying past. And there are some secrets that refuse to stay buried.
Featuring found photos of unsettling history and real abandoned asylums and filled with chilling mystery and page-turning suspense, Madeleine Roux's teen debut, Asylum, is a horror story that treads the line between genius and insanity.
