Moloch | 3975 comments I'm going through the list of librarian edits by a user that has made some minor errors: nothing tragic, but some little things that could be easily avoided if explained, so I was going to message her with some advice (like, always insert the ISBN codes if the book has them, don't put the ISBN13 in the ISBN13 field because it gets truncated, don't upload covers with watermarks from e-commerce sites, etc), but I saw that her profile is private, so I can't.
Now I wonder, if I "flag" the edits, can the staff message her? Or am I making too big a deal and I should leave her alone and fix?

If a librarian is repeating mistakes then we should help them get better before they get worse. Flag them to support or else you will be second-guessing her forever. You know it makes sense.
