{Personality} Beryl is a doer. She's blunt and straightforward, ready to get her hands dirty. Outgoing and enthusiastic, she lives in a world of action. She'll be ready to plunge into things and live in the moment. After a quick examination of the facts, Beryl will quickly plan, execute, and move on. No stop and smell the roses for her. Very observant as well, Beryl can pick up on small signs normally unnoticed by others, such as facial expressions and stance. She has the ability to recognize people's motivations and attitudes, and is often a couple steps ahead of others. She's cunning and thinks of rules as more of guild lines than commands or orders. Beryl is quite impatient and needs to keep moving and going. Not liking routine, she's also spontaneous and likes to switch things up. This is one reason school isn't her favorite thing in the world. The most entertaining and likable classes she takes, in her opinion, are Drama and Gym. As her passion is acting, Beryl loves drama and is pretty good at it. {History} Beryl grew up with ADHD, no surprise there. She has one younger brother, diagnosed with Autism at a young age. He's a sweetheart, with no elemental ability. Beryl herself didn't know she was an Elemental until she was 11. Only her brother out of her whole family has seen her use her power. He thinks she's like Elsa from Frozen (He is absolutely in love with Disney movies). Beryl's father works as a police officer and is very busy a lot of the time. Her mother is always stressed out, as a doctor and having to help Jasper, Beryl's bother. To top all that, Beryl's father was lost his arm while working when she was 8.

Beryl found out her power the after her 11th birthday, so on May 9th, 2007. Her mother and father gave her a small crystal key chain, not knowing being near minerals or crystals make Beryl's power stronger. The next day she held the key chain in her hand, attaching it to her backpack. It began to heat up in her hand. Beryl was clueless as to why this happened, until it glowed brighter and grew. Let's just say it was a weird day for her. Beryl went crazy researching and testing it, seeing if her brother saw it too, or if she was just loony. Turns out it was real and she received a letter to the academy the next month. She continued to practice, memorized at the things she could do. She bought a Beryl pendant for extra strength and learned every thing about minerals and gemstones.

History: Ever since he was born, Raphael has had an association with heat. Weather it was making it warmer so he could go swimming (he did not know what he was doing), or making it warm so he could have a glass of lemonade, he always had something with heat. He didn't start realizing this correlation had to do with him getting mad, until he was about 10 years old. He then used his powers so he could paint using his powers, by making some of his things melt, to look good. When he was 11, he started to be Abe to control his powers, but they get out of control if he gets mad. At age 13, his parents gave him the letter of acceptance into the school. He is now returning for his 3 year

History:
Childhood
As a child, Joss was different from the very beginning. He was more quiet than the other children and never liked to play with them. He liked to keep to himself. Only his mother, Melanee, knew why. She had been the same as child herself. She had moved from Bordeaux, France to Dublin, Ireland to find her missing grandmother, but instead found love. She hadn't told her husband new husband, Michael, about her powers. She hadn't told anyone anything about herself. She felt that all she did was lie. Anyway, back to her son, Joss. He did not know of his powers until the age of seven, when his mother told him, a week before his sister was born. She explained almost everything to him. Almost everything. She explained what his powers were. But not how to control them She had told him that he must learn how to contain them on his own. Over the years, his powers developed further, sometimes spiraling out of control with his emotions. He could tell that his mother worked hard to keep him out of sight of his father when this happened. He never knew what would happen if he found out. The day Joss turned eight was the day that he destroyed the entire house. The day he turned eight was the day that his mother died. While giving birth to Joss's soon to be brother, his mother had passed away from the cause of high blood pressure, giving her a stroke. The baby had died with her. When he heard the news, he was overwhelmed with sadness and anger. What he was angry at, he would never know. He was standing in the middle of his house, when the next thing he knew, the walls and ceiling started caving in towards him and vases and windows shattered. The house collapsed on top of him, his father, and younger sister. Luckily, no one was killed, but he had put his sister into a month long coma and his father had broken his hand and leg. It wasn't until then that he realized how dangerous he could be. After that, he closed himself off, and didn't even go to his mothers funeral. His grandmother and grandfather demanded custody over his younger sister, Meredith, a month after the funeral. His sister went with his grandparents, but he stayed with his father. Joss's father had developed depression over the few months with Joss. His depression filtered out into anger. He took all of his anger out on Joss and began abusing him at the age of nine.
When he was ten, Joss developed severe bulimia/anorexia and ended up hospitalized for another year of his life. Since then, he's had trouble gaining enough weight to be in the average range of his height, so he always seems to be underweight. He got out of the hospital at age eleven and went back to his house. His father was still abusive to him. When he was twelve, his father had a job transfer and moved to America in the state of New York. He felt horrible, as his sister was still in Ireland. In New York, he lived in a medium sized house with his father.
Teenage Years
At the age of thirteen, Joss felt more stressed than ever. His powers were once again out of control. His telekinesis sometimes made things fly across the room accidentally and for about a week, Joss went back to his old habits of anorexia/bulimia and he cut himself along the wrists but, this time, he got over it himself without any help. One day, his father had hit him across the back with his belt, making a deep gash along his shoulder blade and the middle of his back. His emotions went out of control and his father flew back into the wall without Joss touching him, making a dent in the wall. His father passed out, but Joss did nothing to help him.
At the age of fifteen, he was sent to the elemental academy.

History: As a girl she had been care free and sweet, she had a loving family, nice friends, and was rich. As she got older though the family began to break apart and she began to experiment with her powers. One night when she was experimenting with her father walked in, startled she turned and accidentally blasted him with her power killing him instantly. After that she began to loose control of her power and ended up in killing tons of people because she couldn't control. When her mother heard of this place she shipped her of here. History:
She lived in Germany from birth to 13. She was the youngest of five, with four older brothers (see family). When she was six, her mom died of diabetes. It was only Alex and her mom home when it happened. Her dad didn't have his phone and she didn't know how to call 9-1-1, so she had to watch her mom slowly died, all the while knowing she was going to die and there was nothing she could do. She curled under her moms arm and stayed there until she died. After her mom's funeral, her mom's mother said it would be unhealthy for Alex to live in a household of men, so she adopted Alex into her house. Alex visited her brothers and dad every other weekend. She lived with her grandma from when she was six to when she was eleven. One day, when he was coming home from work, their dad got into a terrible car crash. His front and back of his car got crushed together like a tin can between two semi trucks. He got paralyzed from the neck down. Her brothers were 13, 15, 17, and 19. They dame fed that Alex come live with them and help with their dad. They had a few court cases but eventually got her. From eleven to fifteen she lived with them. One day at school when she was thirteen, she got called down to the office and the principal told her that her father had a stroke and was hospitalized. She was sent home and went directly to the hospital with her brothers and were told that it was a very slim chance that he would live to see the morning. It has been two years and he is still alive.

Personality: Lucas is a hard working, charismatic, charming, and an honorable type of guy. He likes to cheer people up when they are sad and he can open up to you pretty easily. He is high on sensing things and he has to pick up the vibe. If he doesn't like the vibe, he would probably leave the place. He also likes to be near the water due to his ability.

History: His mother died when he was 3 and his father abused him. He was always in pain, emotionally and physically. Then he found out his father had gotten someone pregnant. His father decided to move, he couldn't face the woman. Lucas refused to go. He hated his father and couldn't stand to be with him any longer. His father beat him and took him anyway. They moved near a beach. He started to surf there. One day, his father told him to come in but Lucas stayed out on the water. His father got extremely mad. Lucas saw his father getting the jet ski and he was coming after him. Lucas started to swim faster and faster and then he felt himself going much faster than a human ever would. He realized then, he was controlling the water. A smile cracked upon his face and then he went even faster. Soon, he found himself on a different shore. He started to run even faster. He found himself at a school, a special abilities school.

One day, her parents saw a near dead plant and took it outside and threw it to the side, because they knew it'd never make it because they tried to heal it for the past 3 weeks. Keri went outside and saw the plant, and healed it. Her mom went outside the next day to pull weeds, then saw the growing plant. Her mom was speechless. She told her father when he came home that night and he was speechless. Keri kept healing plants, making them grow larger, and kept doing what she was doing. They soon moved to Montana, and enrolled her in the school which she's in now.

Both are mischievous, and hilarious, but Goliath would be called a 'gentle giant', while David would be called a red-neck-gangster-who-is-up-to-no-good-all-the-time. But when you put them together, you're in deep do-doo.

History: They both lived pretty normal lives and their parents loved them to pieces. But when they were six, they got up for a midnight snack and didn't want to wake their parents. They went downstairs quietly and opened the fridge. "There's nothing to eat anymore!" David complained. Goliath rolled his eyes and went and grabbed an apple. "Apples aren't THAT bad but..." Goliath set the apple on the counter and pretended that he used the force. "I will make this a cake!" The apple turned into a cake and Goliath looked at his fingers then at his brother. David put his finger on the cake and licked the frosting. David's eyes rolled into the back of his head, then he sighed. He then exclaimed, "WE'LL NEVER HAVE TO EAT OUR VEGETABLES AGAIN!! YAY!" They started grabbing food and making all sorts of sweets. They got so sugar high, that they woke up their parents. They saw them, and enrolled them in the school when the time had come.

History: She was born into a poor family, but she loved them dearly. Her parents died in a car crash and she knew she wouldn't feel the same again. She was soon put into an orphanage at age 12 and she met a lot of people who had similar experiences about their parents dying. One night when Tami was 15, she woke up because a girl was crying. The little girl's memory was her parents murdered, and she saw the blood and everything. But they were innocent people. They owned a store, and lived normal lives. She got out of bed a held her, and wanted to take her terrible memories away, or change it. She closed her eyes, thought of her the little girl's parents, and saw the murder. She then made the parents disappear, a jacket there with a tear in it, she made it her favorite jacket, and made her run to her babysitter and she sewed it up. She had the babysitter kiss her on the head and make her go to bed. The next day, the parents were found dead because of the murder in the store they ran. She then opened her eyes, and the little girl crying subsided. She then tucked her in and kissed her goodnight. The little girl said "That's what my-- my babysitter did before I went to bed.She sewed up my favorite jacket and everthin." Tami stopped in her tacks and her eyes got big. She swallowed hard. "Oh-- oh yeah?" The little girl nodded. "The next day, my parents were found dead at their store." Tami nearly passed out. She couldn't believe it. She climbed into bed and said good night to her. Tami knew this wasn't normal, so she pack her stuff and ran away to somewhere she saw online at the library computer. That somewhere was a school for people with special talents.

Henry was born in North Carolina to very loving, very protective parents. He was a bit of a sheltered child, not getting out much. He was even homeschooled. His only friend was a boy two years younger than him next door, but once he moved out, a very mean neighbor with many very mean dogs came to town.

As Henry grew older, he found his love of technology. More importantly, he found his power.

History: Born and raised By a mom and dad till she was 13 years old. Her mother and Father both were normal but had parents that had abilities like Terry's so it was no surprise when there daughter started doing different tricks with Dark abilities at age 3.But at 13 her abilities grew so much that her parents were afraid of her. She started conjuring dark images that would scare her younger brother. So she was sent to an orphanage and one after another the orphanages sent to to other orphanages. Finally she ran away at 14 years old. Then she went and found a friend that wasn't afraid of her. Later she tried to reconnect with her parents but found out that they had died in a serious car crash. It was assumed that her little brother had died in the crash but nobody knew for sure. By sharing an apartment with her friend she earned enough money and tried to find a school that would let her in. Unfortunately she still couldn't control her abilities completely and got kicked out of the schools almost as fast as she had joined them. She was happy when she got the letter in the mail from this school. Now she figures it best to find out how to control her abilities.
